It seems you'd rather attack people than debate ideas.

More likely guilt as his name was never mentioned in reference to the article (What You Should Know About Attention-Seeking Behavior in Adults).
Like Trump and the insurrection, clear understanding and proof of intent and thus guilt.

Biden signs bipartisan gun safety bill into law

https://www.axios.com/2022/06/25/biden-bipartisan-gun-safety-bill-law

President Biden signed the most significant federal gun legislation in nearly three decades on Saturday after it received bipartisan support in Congress earlier this week.

Why it matters: The bill is now law, coming in response to multiple mass shootings last month, including one at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas in which 19 children and two teachers were killed and another in which 10 were killed at a supermarket in Buffalo, New York.

• The law includes enhanced background checks for those under 21, funding for mental health and school safety, incentives for states to implement "red flag" laws and limits on the "boyfriend loophole."

What they're saying: "While this bill doesn't do everything that I want, it does include actions I've long called for that are going to save lives," Biden said.

• "It funds crisis intervention, including red flag laws. It keeps guns out of the hands of people who are a danger to themselves and to others. And it finally closes what is known as the 'boyfriend loophole,' so that if you assault your boyfriend or girlfriend you can't buy a gun or own a gun," he added.

• "It requires young people, age 18 to 21, to undergo enhanced background checks, and includes the first-ever federal law that makes gun trafficking and straw purchases distinct federal crimes."

• "I want to thank the leaders and members of the House and Senate for working together to get this done."

This is a review of the Ioniq5 in winter conditions in eastern Canada. Someone was asking about winter performance of EVs a couple of days ago.

Hah. Humans are good at excess. To be fair though, you can't get cantaloupes to Ottawa from California on a bike, not in large quantities anyway.

We have defaulted to an urban design based on large distances and not walking, so it's not surprising that it has favoured the automobile. We end up motionless in traffic for hours thinking that it's normal. Many places are veering away from this model. This youtube channel is a nice intro into alternative modes of thinking https://www.youtube.com/c/NotJustBikes. It is the brainchild of a Canadian living in Amsterdam with a strong interest in urban design. He can be funny too https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ra_0DgnJ1uQ.

I saw his video. He said charging is a big issue on the road would often take over an hour to charge from 10 to 80%. So he concluded that the car would be good for local use but not for long trips. That way you could charge at home overnight and just use it locally.

The car he tested on loan from the manufacturer Hyundai costs $60,000 and more than most people want to spend.  There are a lot nicer gasoline cars for that much money.

todays electric cars have a range of about 400km or more - this one more than 500 i believe...
Electric driving is silent and fluent...  modern...  accelaration is faster and fluent. ( no  transmission jumps)
No pollution exhaust of CO2 - NO2 etc
fast charging can be done in 15 minutes for 300KM when you need it.  At home it is slower, better ( for the battery) and cheaper...
Electricity is per KM cheaper than gasoline
Electric engines needs far less maintenance... have less parts, but more electronics that may fail.
and this is just the beginning- petrol engines have been optimised for over a century...

but...

More important is that the US goes back 50 years to prevent women to have an abortion...
No women wants an abortion, but if they need it, it should be possible to do so under medical good conditions. Now they will have even more stress.
Well at least they may carry a gun under their clothes to help them leaving the state.
The supreme court is unbalanced conservative thanks to Trump and the now conservative Republican party... ( that used to be different )

An informative, if somewhat long, pair of videos.  They demonstrate that, while the vehicle is ready for long distance Canadian Winter use, the charging infrastructure isn’t.  Sitting and waiting for slow charging in a parking lot in inclement weather is not acceptable.  Waiting in line for this procedure is even less so.  Charging needs to be as efficient and quick as filling up with gas.

I’ve driven three electric vehicles.  A Tesla, a Volvo and 2000 km on my e-bike.  All three display the same characteristics.  They are quiet, efficient, easy to operate and, best of all, FUN.

My advice to those who are against EVs is “Whatever you do, don’t drive one.”

Don't worry. The one guy here who will never change his opinions on anything, who has no experience with so many topics, will never drive one.

Letter to the Times sent today:

The Roe decision is particularly galling because 4 of the 6 justices voting to overturn Roe should not be on the court at all. Thomas because of his past sexual abuse and lies about it--plus he seems to be sort of brain-dead, never asking questions during oral arguments. Gorsuch because his seat would be occupied by Merrick Garland if it weren't for the vile refusal of Mitch McConnell hold confirmation hearings. Kavanaugh because of his serial perjury during his hearings and lying to senators. And Coney Barrett because of her lack of judicial experience (only 3 years) and her connections with a fringe Christian group.

It's easy to miss quite a lot of useful information when, instead of actually listening to what's being said and understanding the context, you're more interested and absorbed in constructing your response. It's the difference between listening to understand and listening to respond.

Thanks for the video links. His most recent video is also worth watching. It's an interesting take on American urban transit planning or lack of it.

Rather than commenting on my evaluation techniques, why don't you address the issue he complained about when it takes over an hour to charge the battery from 10 to 80% while he had to stand in the cold Canadian air?  Why would anyone spend $60,000 on a car and be faced with that kind of torture?
