The poll is specifically asking about sending a signal of opposition to Trump, so in that context, it alone is encouraging, considering who these voters can vote for in November. And the fact that it's a record since 1998 is encouraging as well. 35% told pollsters the same thing in 2022 with Biden, and we all know how that turned out. Hopefully, in a few weeks, it will be a landslide, and the current Republicans will lose control of the Senate. Then it gets real interesting for Trump.

I absolutely agree but I still expected or at least hoped that number would be higher.
Things do feel like they are turning toward sanity a little bit but it's going to take a long time to fix this mess.
