Disgusting! I vehemently disagree with the lunatic left, but wish them no harm.
You, of course, have Kash's number on your speed dial, Frans?
She sells seashells by the seashore.
The shells she sells are surely seashells.

Trump appointees push $250 banknote with his portrait
May 28, 2026
This is indeed good news: Federal law currently allows only deceased people to appear on bills.
Well worth having the banknote if the federal law is enforced!

Let's pray(if that helps) that the rumors of his ill health are not overstated.

This, and your follow-up responses, go beyond anything which could be regarded as reasonable discussion and are wholly unacceptable.

I am going to lock this thread for a week or so, to allow heads to cool. If any other political thread is started, it will be deleted and its contributors banned.

Some things are just too funny. They want to restrict which troops can attend the white house UFC fights https://www.motherjones.com/politics/2026/05/ufc-trump-troops-weight-requirements/.

I had innocently imagined that soldiers were, by definition, fit, toughened up and of impressive physical strength. If they are not, what friggin’ good are they?

It’s bad enough seeing fat policemen, even if they have the compensation of a gun by their side. Unlike the strange sentiment that prevails in the UK - possibly fostered by the wimp left - that the fuzz should be unarmed unless under very special circumstances, I tend to think that the keepers of the peace should be equipped in a manner that means that they inevitably win confrontations. As with the unfit soldiers, if not fit for purpose, what good are they? One thing about Spain: the Guardia Civil appear to be very fit, and not the kind of people any sane person would challenge.

Have you thought professional help?

What I have thought of as a professional; your odd repetitive habit of asking questions of others, both here and on PhotoNet (two sites dedicated to photography, an activity of which there is zero proof you've tried), when your posting history and agenda show you have no desire or ability to accept any answer. No need to ask questions.
A partial paper trail for your readers, new to your posting questions agenda:

Chaps, this aimless bickering is costing the world oodles of electricity, electricity better spent keeping my yogurt cool in the fridge every day.

I am convinced that mental energy expended in confrontation has a measurable, additive impact upon the other electromagnetic waves buzzing through me - and everybody else on the planet - tending to destabilise our immune system’s ability to cope and protect us. I suspect it also has negative effects on wildlife: the field across the hedge from me used to be the venue providing aerial acrobatics each evening before the Sun wished me goodnight, acrobatics kindly provided by those amazing little flying creatures called bats. Murciélagos, they are known as here, and the last one I saw had wandered into my home by mistake some time ago, but as for anything over the field, nothing in several years. Mosquitos aplenty, moths too, so it can’t be a sudden lack of natural prey that’s keeping them down. The last murciélago I saw out in the wilds was probably a blessed Lamborghini. (To me, all bats, as with Lamborghinis, look exactly the same. Not the bats looking like the cars, but like one another.)

Everybody now has a domestic router, cellphone and heaven knows what else. Electromagnetic interference is inescapable and out to kill the lot of us. :-(

True, it really is CWOBaT (colossal waste of bandwidth and time) with the Trump cult members who don't know the difference between the color green and blue.  ;D
That said, I'm happy to report that in terms of electricity, I'm generating more clean, renewable electricity than I use thanks to lots of solar panels and a tracker. Last year, I sent 3.1 mWh back to the grid for my neighbors.

Wow, 3.1 milliwatthours, maybe enough to power an LED for an hour or so. Way to go!

No, not wrong: mWh is not MWh.
