Chaps, this aimless bickering is costing the world oodles of electricity, electricity better spent keeping my yogurt cool in the fridge every day.
I am convinced that mental energy expended in confrontation has a measurable, additive impact upon the other electromagnetic waves buzzing through me - and everybody else on the planet - tending to destabilise our immune system’s ability to cope and protect us. I suspect it also has negative effects on wildlife: the field across the hedge from me used to be the venue providing aerial acrobatics each evening before the Sun wished me goodnight, acrobatics kindly provided by those amazing little flying creatures called bats. Murciélagos, they are known as here, and the last one I saw had wandered into my home by mistake some time ago, but as for anything over the field, nothing in several years. Mosquitos aplenty, moths too, so it can’t be a sudden lack of natural prey that’s keeping them down. The last murciélago I saw out in the wilds was probably a blessed Lamborghini. (To me, all bats, as with Lamborghinis, look exactly the same. Not the bats looking like the cars, but like one another.)
Everybody now has a domestic router, cellphone and heaven knows what else. Electromagnetic interference is inescapable and out to kill the lot of us. :-(
