I suspect that hoping for Republicans to turn against their “charismatic” leader isn’t a thousand miles from hoping turkeys to vote for Christmas! I think politics has become the new religion, and we know how solidly such faith can stand against any attempt to question it. Add to that the overtures made to established, actual religious blocs and because of numbers, the status quo looks to be pretty firmly welded in place. As I mentioned earlier, I hear no noise about an opposition rising star. Unless there is one, or even a viable older one, from whence any hope for positive change?

Of course, such change coming from someone within Trumpistan itself would be as good; in the end, all politicians are in it for themselves: it’s a career, they have to be doing it for number one. It’s not the name on the hat, it’s what the guy wearing it does.

I have stayed out of this, and, despite my misgivings, here goes!

A prediction.

1. There will be no elections in the USA.
     a) Here’s why: Trump knows that if any vote goes against him and the Republicans lose their majority, his life will be hell (and all those around him). The stealing, fraud and corruption….
     b) He has got nothing to lose if he declares some or other “emergency” to suspend elections and he has the second largest funded military force in the world (ICE) backing him up. Chasing immigrants around the cities was their training...
     c) This new scheme $1.8 billion “Anti-Weaponization Fund is to show his gangs/militias/private army that he will reward them. This is a "down payment" on future uprisings. He will make a few token payments and pocket the rest…

He has purged all those who might have stood in his way and and he breaks the law daily with impunity - again, no-one knows better than him all the crime he is committing, so, why would he meekly give in to a certain election loss?

I feel so sorry for those Americans who voted against him (those who abstained are as responsible as those who voted for him) - I hope I am wrong in all of this!
