Trump was quoted as saying that Putin only wanted the best for Ukraine, or something like that. The exact quote is all over the interweb. I suppose it's not a lie, it's just that Putin probably does believe that Ukraine is better off annexed to Russia. Ukrainians might not agree.
It's difficult to know what Trump believes. First the enemy was China, then Canada, then Mexico, then Denmark, then maybe Ukraine though they may still be negotiating Trump's mining royalties, then Venezuela, then Nigeria, then China again, hell, everyone is the enemy, Democrats, immigrants of nearly all kinds except the rich ones, there's a queue. Wasn't that one of the storylines in Orwell's 1984, that they rewrote history books now and then to reflect the newest enemy. Is it possible to over flood the zone?
Whatever happened to that long column of migrants making their way to the US from South America that was in the news at one point? How did they ever get through all the Central American borders, has anyone ever looked into that?
The US attacked a dock in Venezuela from where drugs were being loaded onto those little boats. I wonder how many docks there are in Venezuela. Are any real estate speculators buying up cheap Venezuelan coastal land yet? You can't build too many resorts and people there will work cheap too, the local officials will see to that.
De Santis in Florida is now on record as being against AI. It's difficult to see public statements like this as anything but bribery solicitation these days. I know that's ultra-cynical and I'm almost ashamed of myself.
