So let me get this straight. You've been in favour of Brexit from the start, but now you think that it will isolate the UK. So what was so good about exiting?
My country has imposed tariffs on China. These are hurting us. However, it's part of a battle we hope to win that have more important long-term consequences of stopping them from stealing our intellectual property and dealing with us in a more fair way. So I'm willing to take the hit for a higher purpose.
Likewise, my position on regarding Brexit was that I couldn't see America being run politically by gnomes in another country. Why would I want foreigners making laws I have to abide with in my country? My freedoms, political and personal, and independence are more important than making a few extra bucks. I also said that while there would be hardships for Britain, many countries currently including the US are not in the EU. However, we have very good trade relations with Europe. There's no reason Britain couldn;t do the same. Of course, I don;t vote in Britain and I'm not British. So it's their decision to make.
