It is coincidence that one of these photos, taken today, is very similar to Tom's image. These were taken in a place called Graffiti Alley. You can elect to photograph the artwork or graffiti, as it appears, or, like I have done, have some fun and give it an abstract bent.

Here is wow, right back at you, Jim. And unlike you, I am not sure what you photographed or how. Although one looks like a taillight from a car. I have to say, I like them all!

Thanks. They're all neon lights, except for the last one, which was an LED display. A characteristic of all those things is that they turn on and off rapidly.
