He wasn't? Even the ultra-left Washington Post suggested Biden be tested for drugs.

If you think the Post is ultra-left, you are poorly informed.

Alabama GOP Sen. Katie Britt on Sunday responded to allegations that her response to President Joe Biden's State of the Union address was misleading.

The criticism centers on a story Britt told about a victim of human trafficking, which she implied happened during Biden's tenure.

Britt spoke in her Thursday-night speech about visiting the U.S.-Mexico border in 2023 and speaking to this woman.

"She had been sex-trafficked by the cartels starting at age 12. She told me not just that she was raped every day, but how many times a day she was raped," Britt said in her response to the State of the Union.

"We wouldn't be OK with this happening in a Third World country. This is the United States of America, and it is past time, in my opinion, that we start acting like it," she added. "President Biden's border crisis is a disgrace."

Shortly after the address, a viral social media post by journalist Jonathan Katz looked more closely at the story and noted that the trafficking did not happen during Biden's presidency, or even in the United States; it happened during the administration of President George W. Bush, in Mexico.

On "Fox News Sunday," Britt did not acknowledge making any mistake or leaving a wrong impression.

Katie Britt said "When I first took office, I did something different. I traveled to the Del Rio sector of Texas, where I spoke to a woman who shared her story with me." She became an Alabama senator in 2022, during Biden's regime.

Like the leader of her party, Britt is a liar.

All bs all the time. Meanwhile, no one is discussing what to actually do. In the past, many waves of immigrants helped build the country. How was immigration handled then? Doesn't anyone remember? Are there no adults left that can do this work, is it all hysterical social media moral panics now.

It's all too easy to make fun of politicians, and comedians have been doing so for a long time, but the current crop of nitwits coming out of Trumpistan is beyond the pale. They don't even try to be plausible.

There are, but the Trump sycophants will not let a bipartisan bill even get to the floor for a vote. A 'win for Biden' (actually a win for Americans) isn't a win for Trump, so he killed it with help from the lemmings.

So if he doesn't fit the manufactured narrative created to smear him he must be on drugs?

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/2900755/biden-secretly-dumped-320000-inadmissible-illegal-immigrants-us-cities/

You can always tell it's going to be a hard-hitting piece of well-researched journalism when it opens with something like:
Quote
Efforts by open-border Democrats to blame the growing big-city migrant crisis on Texas

It seems like if they give a fun label like that to Democrats they should give one to Texas as well. To be fair and balanced.

There's nothing manufactured about Biden's increasing senility.

I saw that soon after the Trump clan took over the RNC, they started firing people. Maybe they weren't Republican enough. I guess Trump needs a stranglehold on the party donation income stream to pay off his legal obligations. Ham-handed it seems to me, but you have to hand it to them, it's working. True to form, Trump will probably bankrupt the RNC soon, it's what he's best at.

I've said it before but it is truly difficult to believe that people fall for this.

You can't make this nonsense up (but one here will buy it hook, line and sinker):

Former President Donald Trump said Monday that one of his first acts as president if he wins in November would be to "free" those charged and convicted of crimes related to the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol. "My first acts as your next President will be to Close the Border, DRILL, BABY, DRILL, and Free the January 6 Hostages being wrongfully imprisoned!" Trump wrote on his Truth Social account.
