I understand and agree with your sentiment. Actually, yesterday was the first time that I've considered doing the same thing regarding the ignore list. Still mulling that over for awhile. It would make the thread reading less nauseating at times.
This sums it up for me:
"I’ve learned two things the hard way: You can’t fix stupid and you shouldn’t use up your patience to fix stupid". -Karen A. Baquiran
If this idiot could figure out how to lump a days worth of his fabricated bullshit to one post, OK I can deal with it. He can not even figure that out.
I could make an email rule too. The ignore option for me was better as I can come here and have everything this fool has written disappear from view. Perfect.

I think most of us realize that no facts or evidence can penetrate that defense shield. For myself and perhaps others, it's the realization that fabricated bullshit gets picked up on the internet and spread like manure to fertilize other fevered minds that motivates a response.

Still mulling over the options though. There's only so much time in a day and so much bullshit to wade thru.

Millions also didn't see an insurrection but rather a legal demonstration followed by a riot.

Millions of those same idiots also voted for a demonstrably sociopathic autocrat with no interests but his own.  The very same person who incited this "riot", if you prefer, in the first place.

Quote
Just like what happened with the BLM demonstrations.
That's precisely NOT like the BLM demonstrators, despite your repeated, despicable and feeble attempts to conflate the two.

The BLM demonstrators weren't bent on subverting the legal, democratic, peaceful transition of power that Americans are so proud of. They were justifiably angry at the repeated murder of people with dark skin by members of the police.

Nor were they yelling "Hang Mike Pence" or "We're coming to get you, Nancy". Both of whom were the legally elected representatives of your government.

No one was trying to overthrow the American government, especially a guy dressed as a buffalo.
Alan, that's EXACTLY what they were trying to do. That was their stated intent; to subvert democracy. Just as they were instructed to do by the aforementioned sociopath.

Speaking of fabricated bullshit...

Cops are supposed to use other means to stop people, not shoot through doors...

Yet, in this one case, one officer decided to fire his gun through a door...

No police officer fired a shot through a door. One person was shot directly in her shoulder while halfway thru a door that had already be breached. That breach, it should be noted, was opened in the last barrier to the doors of the House chamber where members were still sheltering from the mob before finally being evacuated.

It smells.

Like other bullshit... It certainly does. You seem to carry around a lot of fabricated bullshit in your bag of talking points.

There are people who are unable or unwilling to understand the meaning of certain words. It may be due to their limited understanding of a language or may sometimes be due to their deliberate desire to confuse an issue.

As an example, insurrection, rebellion, and revolt refer to acts of defiance against government authority.
These acts are often aimed at a specific type of government authority which is being defied or challenged, such as taxation or the drafting of soldiers—perhaps the results of an election. Revolution, on the other hand, is an act or series of acts which seek to overthrow and replace an existing government with a new government.

Deliberate misuse of language is often used as a tool to make insincere arguments. For instance, if you wish to confuse an issue in order to create a smokescreen to minimize some event. For instance, you might pretend that an act of insurrection means to overthrow the government. In that example, the pretense is used to divert attention away from and minimize the actual event by claiming an entirely different meaning of a word used to describe the event.
But it's the Democrats and you who are misusing the American language.  The way you describe it, any demonstration against the government can be considered illegal and could be called an insurrection.  A demonstration is not illegal and not an insurrection.  It's our right of free speech. A riot is illegal but it's also not an insurrection unless there are activities that are legally acts of insurrection to overthrow the government. The government has charged no one with insurrection.  No one was trying to overthrow the government.  They were making a lot of noise and were destructive.  But that's not insurrection.  Stop using that word.  It's hyperbole that the Democrats are using for political influence.  It's all being overblown to try to keep Democrats in power and not lose the upcoming election.

One part of a false narrative. The police officers moved away from the door to give access to a tactical contingent of heavily armed officers with protective gear who were coming up a stairway to take their place. You can see them in the video at the top of the stairs where Babbitt fell after being shot. It's that group of officers who first attempted to render aid.

Why wasn't the cop who shot made aware of this police strategy?  That's the problem.  As I said previously, no one was in charge.  The Capitol Police, because of their incompetence, wound up killing an unarmed woman.  Had the cop known what was happening, he would have waited until the other cops took control of the situation.  Instead, he got scared, and fired.

It's like the woman cop who shot the guy with her gun thinking it was a taser.  Incompetence.  But she's going to jail for it.  The Capitol cop wasn't even charged.  I doubt if there will even be a civil suit charging wrongful death.  The whole thing was buried by the Democratic-controlled DOJ.

We both agree that Trump is not a good and honest person. Similarly, Ashli Babbitt and Marjorie Taylor Green wouldn't pass the test for Girl Guide trainers. But for some reason, while we all feel repulsion and disgust for those individuals, you seem to be attracted to such persons. Almost like the Stockholm syndrome. But in this case I would describe it as a Fatal Attraction phenomenon. I believe the only remedy for you would be to get really close to them and take the chance that they could do something vile also to you.
I'm not attracted to Trump.  During the nomination process in 2016, I was for Bush and possibly others, not for Trump.  Once he won the nomination, the choice was him or Hillary, a really corrupt individual and family gang.  So I voted for Trump.

In 2020, Biden was his opponent.  Another loser who cannot do anything right to save his a$$.  He's screwed up everything in less than one year.  He's opened the border so we have 2 million illegals arriving, he gave Afghanistan back to the terrorists and Taliban after all the blood and treasure we spent there over 20 years, he increase inflation, rehired that dummy Powell for the Fed, he forgot to order Covid test kits for 11 months, etc.  Joe is certainly a nicer guy than Trump.  But he can't run America. This isn't a popularity contest.  We're facing China, Russia, Iran, North Korea, and Canada ;)  We need someone at the top who knows how to get the job done.

Just thought that I would point out one more bit of completely fabricated bullshit. The narrative above is completely false. It's flailing around trying to shift blame for the Capitol attack on January 6th everywhere except where it belongs—Trump spewing lies and a brainwashed violent mob that believed him.
What's BS.  If Trump ran the Capitol Police you'd be blaming him for its incompetence.  So I'm blaming Congress who they report to through the House Sergeant-at-Arms.  Nancy Pelosi is the Speaker of the House. She should have fired him before Jan 6th rather than afterward.

Where's the probe?  Nowhere.  The Democrats aren't going to embarrass themselves.  So, you won't hear too much after their failures.  Rather, they'll keep talking about insurrection.  It's all politics.

Mob fallout: Pelosi calls for Capitol Police chief to be fired; House SAA to resign
Members of Congress praise rank and file but say probe is necessary
Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Thursday called for the firing of Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund and said House Sergeant-at-Arms Paul D. Irving would be resigning.

“I am calling for the resignation of the chief of the Capitol Police, Mr. Sund, and I have received notice from Mr. Irving that he will be submitting his resignation,” the California Democrat said at a news conference. Sund sent out a release on Thursday defending his department in the wake of the disruption of government, but Pelosi was not impressed. “Mr. Sund, he hasn’t even called us since this happened."

Well, if we all put everyone who we disagree with on the Ignore list, this thread would die a quiet death.  Maybe that would be for the good.  ;)

And to make their point, they went out and looted and burned nearby businesses to the ground. So there!

The last time you brought up the border you said "millions". This time, you quoted a pretty specific "2 million". Is that 2 million in total or per month or per year? Don't be too hasty about blocking their entry though, you're going to need replacements for all the folks who died of Covid. I guess you're worried they'll vote Democrat though.

As for getting the job done, I saw the other day that Rep. Nunes resigned his Congressional seat to go work for Trump in that media company he's starting up. Trump's track record in running companies isn't actually very good, Nunes may be making a mistake. I hope his government pension is generous in case the new venture doesn't pan out. I hope Trump finds better lawyers than the ones who handled all the election appeals.

So there!

OMFG.  That proves it.  Alan's head shot is a fake.  Just like I said months ago, Alan's really a fourteen year old, masquerading as a photographer.

Now that's a real stretch, masquerading as a photographer. Have you actually viewed his flickr.com gallery?

There were around 1,820,000 who crossed the southern border during 10 months from Feb through Nov or about 182,000 per month as an average.   So allowing twelve months, you get around 2 million (182,000 x 12 = 2,184,000)

I agree Nunes is making a mistake.  He did a crap job protecting President Trump as a congressman.  I can't see him doing a good job as Trump's guy in a private corporation.  Trump will fire him in a few months, maybe sooner.  ;)

Maybe he's hiring Nunes to keep him around for Trump's own aspirational political reasons if he decides to run again in 2024.  This way he's got a line into congress for support politically.  He also can use Nunes to keep an eye on congress, and to get support for his company should the need arise.  I can't believe he'll use Nunes as a corporate executive other than for show.  This way he can pay him out of corporate income rather than personally as a private consultant.  Trump doesn't like to spend his own money.

You should take some time and think about the equivalence that you're trying to draw between these two cases.

You jest, surely.
