Of course, most Americans don't get the news right here in the US either

It appears that some Americans have a single-sided 45 rpm record of talking points set to repeat. They would benefit themselves, and the rest of us, with an upgrade to at least a CD version.

Total nonsense as explained to you multiple times. You simply ignore facts if they do not coincide with your preferred reality—no matter how many times they are brought to your attention. It's an endless game.

Isn't it time for you to misdirect this discussion to Russia or something else now?
Sure, let's talk about Russia.  Trump didn't want to punish Putin either because he knew we needed to work with Russia.  Russia isn't our enemy but China is and it will get worse.  We need Russia, a nuclear power on our side, who's no threat to us.  A huge country near the northern part of China.  We should be making deals with Russia.  Now because of American domestic politics, we've pushed Putin into the arms of China where they're doing joint military exercises with them.  How is that smart?

He tried to steer it off to David Axelrod and CNN but I demurred.

I repeat the same points because they're the truth and I believe in them.  I don't waffle like Biden.

Nah. I'm not feeling in much of a Russia mood today.

Russia isn't our enemy... We need Russia... who's no threat to us.

Well that explains quite a bit regarding your grasp on geopolitics—and perhaps your grasp on a good deal more.

I made a point about why we need Russia and your response was to knock me rather than address the point. Cheap shot. I know you can do better than that.

Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, colloquially known as MBS, is the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia is too much to type.  :)

You've got the wrong named bolded. Besides, MBS is shorter. So are we going with former President Fred Trump?

I certainly agree that you believe in them, at least most of the time. You are not entirely consistent in what you believe. I frequently disagree that the points you make are true. I have shown a number of them to be false. Others have too.

(Fred is no good because that's Donald's father and his dead brother Fred Jr.).

I was replying to your post which referred generally to "most Americans" not getting the news right. My reply referred generally to "some Americans".

If you recognized yourself in my reply, that's your introspection at work. It's a good thing to exercise regularly.

I'd prefer not to call Trump The Donald, but you may. You probably should call MSB either MSB or the Crown Prince, since there are some other princes.

No. I'm satisfied that my response was an accurate reflection of my reaction to your statements.

Apparently, Biden is just a feckless with Putin as the PRince who tried to murder Navalny, it seems.  He punishes Putin underlings and lets Putin off the hook, pretty much doing what Trump did.  All of Biden's and the Democrat's accusations about Putin in bed with Trump.  where are the Democrats and the left-wing press now calling for President Biden to be tougher on Putin?  More lies from Biden.

TX in 8 days anyone?

Texas Gov. Abbott announces plan to fully reopen businesses, end state mask mandate

I may have to come and visit again soon, like real soon.  My wife was able to come in January, so let's check the plane tickets.

I think I know the difference between a Prince and a Crown Prince.  But I wouldn't want to be called a liar.  :) In any case,  I'm an American.  Maybe one of our British friends here could explain it.  It seems to be their specialty.

Texas Abbott is trying to outdo Florida's governor.  Are they both running for president in 2024?

Except he doesn't really know what's happening. He reads the left-wing anti-Trump news from the NY Times and Washington Post regurgitated in his local press.

Tell you what, Alan, I'll keep quiet about the US if you keep quiet about every country you've lived in for less time than I've lived in the US.

Deal?
