Does anyone really care whether Trump and his wife got vaccinated?
Interesting analysis:

Trump got vaccinated in secret. Here's why this matters
Dr. Peter Hotez says that if former President Donald Trump and former first lady Melania Trump had decided to reveal to the public that they received the Covid-19 vaccine it would have helped "melt away" a lot of vaccine hesitancy.

Almost half of Michigan Republicans don't plan to get COVID-19 vaccine, poll shows

Not just Michigan....

Why did Trump and the wife get vaccinated against Covid-19 in January and not tell us?

Odd, especially considering all the important information Trump gave to American citizens regarding vaccines, immunity, and "the cure" earlier. Like...

Johnstown, PA Trump rally on October 13, 2020.

Trump: "I’ll tell you what, the vaccines are coming soon, the therapeutics and frankly, the cure. All I know is I took something, whatever the hell it was, I felt good very quickly. I don’t know what it was. Antibodies, antibodies. I don’t know. I took it. I said, I felt like Superman."

"And now I’m immune, they tell me I’m immune. I could come down and start kissing everybody. I’ll kiss every guy, man and woman, man and woman. Look at that guy, how handsome he is. I’ll kiss him. Not with all of enjoyment, but that’s okay."

"To everyone fighting to recover from the virus, I feel your pain because I felt your pain and we will beat this virus together. Who has had it? Who has had it here? Who’s had it? Yeah. A lot of people, a lot of people. Well, you’re the people I want to say hello to because you are right now immune. You are right now immune. Or they say that. You know, they hate to admit it because I had it. So in the old days they said, “Well, if you have it, you’re immune for life,” right? Once I got it, they give you four months. It’s anybody else but me, you’re immune for life.

"we’ll have 100 million vaccine doses before the end of this year, 100 million, and the vaccine will end the pandemic once and for all. [The actual number of doses by the end of 2020 was 14 million]

Nope. That would be whataboutism.
No it's not.  It's about opinion stations hiring news analysts from both sides of the political spectrum.  You just believe in double standards. That only your side can do that.

You made a specific claim and now you're waffling about "conveyed". No credibility.
No waffling.  Everyone on this side of the Atlantic knew what the Democrats and Biden were up to.  You really should stick to British politics.

So let's see, David Axelrod is a political commenter on CNN.  If I recall correctly for the Truth Squad here, wasn't he the campaign advisor and confidante of President Obama before CNN hired him?  A "mini=Goebbels" as the Daily Beast calls these people.  Do you really want to go down the list of the number of insiders who lied for both Obama and Biden who were hired by liberal stations?

From a position of having an inside track, who better to hire than insiders like Axelrod and McEnany if you want to know how the presidents think.  They aren't being hired as journalists but political commentators.  If people want to read the real news, they can check in here at LuLa.

Nobody lies like Trump does. Well, except his press secretaries, but they don't have Trump's genius and his staying power.

You really should stick to British politics.

Why? It isn't like you don't have comments to make about the affairs of countries outside of the United States.

Political events in the U.S. have a global impact. Citizens of other countries tend to pay a good deal of attention to the details of what's happening in the United States.

Did Biden lie about Prince Salman?  Before the election, he was going to really punish him for murder.  Now it's, well, you know, international politics changes things.  Seems like a whopper to me.  Now every two-bit dictator and criminal leader will know he can get away with murder.  Biden drew a line in the sand but didn't follow through, just like his old boss Obama did in Syria with chemical weapons. Trump had the good sense to lie about what the CIA knew and went along to get along knowing America was going to continue doing business with the Saudis.  "Maybe he did.  Maybe he didn't" Trump said referring to Salman.  And moved on.

If government printing and issuing checks to citizens are pushing purchases, that means it's based on false government stimulus, not production and real work. People sitting home getting money for not working and spending money they haven't earned is false GDP. More money chasing fewer goods means inflation and higher prices reducing the value of everyone's take-home pay, pension, social security, and savings, negatively affecting the elderly' like me, and others on a fixed income. The government has to get back to letting the economy work on its own.

Also, why do we need to print and spend $1.9 trillion if the economy is doing so much better?  Let the economy grow out of Covid on its own.  Enough stimulus has been spent already.  Spend only the money necessary to help people in trouble. If they gave $2000 to every unemployed person from Covid, about ten million, that's only $20 billion, a lot less than $1900 billion. For example, Why do I need another stimulus check?  I haven't lost any income due to Covid.  The same goes for everyone else who's been working.  On the other hand, I could always use another lens.  :)  But then I buy it from Japan, so they and CHina get the money.  SO half the money goes overseas.  We're shooting ourselves in the foot, twice.

What's going on in Canada where you are?  Are things picking up?  Are you still printing like America?  What about Europe?

You made some good points Alan. Canada doesn't print as many trillions as USA, but we do print our fair share. To tell the truth, we don't bother printing small banknotes. Anything worth less than $5 is produced in coins rather than on paper. That way it seems more substantial and it is also waterproof, at least to 50 meters. Roughly the same as Apple watch.

Since the US and Canadian economies are so intertwined, we noticed here also some uptick, the banks and manufacturing sector are doing OK. Surprisingly, even the value of Alberta oil production has reached by now the pre-pandemic levels.

We export also a lot of brain power to US. Did you know that Elon Musk and Chamath Palihapitiya came to US from Canada? Occasionally, less talented characters find their way to USA, for example Ted Cruz, but we wouldn't dream to hold him here against his wishes.

Except he doesn't really know what's happening. He reads the left-wing anti-Trump news from the NY Times and Washington Post regurgitated in his local press.  Of course, most Americans don't get the news right here in the US either, it's so biased.

In any case, who got the impression that Biden couldn't wait to take Trump's vaccine? I don't remember Biden saying anything like "Gee I can't wait for Trump to issue those vaccines so me and my wife can take them." The fact is Biden undermined what Trump was doing with the vaccines because there was an election coming up.  That was obvious to anyone who has an inkling of politics.

No it's not.

Yes it is. It is the perfect example of whataboutism.

It's about opinion stations hiring news analysts from both sides of the political spectrum.

Nope. That's what you want to talk about. That's a different subject.

You just believe in double standards. That only your side can do that.

You have now gone off the deep end.

Biden doesn't pre-announce all his moves like Trump did. More walk than talk, and more facts than lies.

What are you talking about?  Biden said he was going to punish the murderer Salman.  That was a lie just spoken for political purposes before the election to embarrass Trump, to make it seem that he would do something to Salman when Trump did nothing.   Biden knew he wasn't going to do anything either.  And he didn't. He lied.

Well, not everyone. I don't think Biden was up to anything other than telling people to listen to the scientists not Trump, which seemed like pretty good advice to me. Still does.

There is no Prince Salman. There used to be a Prince Salman, but he is now King Salman. Do you want me to refer to your hero Donald J. Trump as Fred?

Well, during the nomination process, Trump tried to send Cruz back but you wouldn't take him.  Now he's one of Trump's biggest boosters.  Go figure?  Politics make strange bedfellows.

Although Biden shut down the XL pipeline which belongs to Canada, it will work out best in the end for you.  By his shutting down some US domestic production and licenses, we'll be more dependent on Canada as well as the Middle East oil.  So your sales will go up to make up for a lot more than the pipeline.  That would be like me putting my Nikon on the shelf and buying the same model from you to use.  This is what's leading America now.  Morons.

Total nonsense as explained to you multiple times. You simply ignore facts if they do not coincide with your preferred reality—no matter how many times they are brought to your attention. It's an endless game.

Isn't it time for you to misdirect this discussion to Russia or something else now?

Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, colloquially known as MBS, is the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia is too much to type.  :)
