No, THAT wasn't my purpose. The article did that. My purpose WAS to also draw attention to the swastikas and confederate flags, because I felt like it. I did NOT say there were representative nor did I imply it, you just chose to infer it.

I happen to agree with you. You see short athletes from Kenya and Ethiopia who are great at marathon running. But lousy at basketball. But in public today, using these comparisons is treading on dangerous grounds where you open yourself to being called a racist.   I don't think that's right.  But it's the way it is today which creates a lot of disharmony among peoples.  We should all be proud of who we are. God made us all valuable. In any case, being a good person is more important than all that other stuff.

Anyway, what the WHO is saying is that IF we are to escape lockdown, Sweden is the model because they have managed to (semi) successfully rely on a combination of enhanced social responsibility AND a comprehensive public health policy including thorough testing, etc.

What The WHO is pointedly NOT saying is that the Swedish model is inherently superior or is "working better."  But you'll miss those subtleties if you rely on nothing but headlines and preconceived opinion.

It's been my feeling since day one that these lockdowns are not worth it, since day one.  Not sure what you are implying here, but I am not following anyone.  I came to this conclusion myself. 

I am just happy to see that, although late to the party once again, the liberals are as well.  Better late then never I guess.
