What happened to schools and businesses after the outbreak?
The schools were closed at first and every kid had to learn from home.
Most schools went back for second term after Easter.
The general feeling was that kids were low risk and would be better for them at school rather than running around the street and also missing a year of school.
A few schools have had outbreaks and they just deep clean them (school not kids) and send them back.
You were only allowed to go out for shopping, exercise, work and medical treatment. No eating in so takeaway food only.
Most people worked from home if they could as there was very limited public transport as numbers were restricted on trains and buses.
Now pretty much anything is allowed as long as there is no more than 1 person per 4 sq metres. That may mean that a lot of businesses stay closed as they are not economical.
The government is paying a Job Keeper allowance which for some is more than they were earning.
That was until this latest outbreak where most states are banning people from hot spots and the whole state of Victoria.
However stocks are up, dollar is up, but we are slowly moving up the list of countries.
