Actual URLs for anyone who would pain themselves to slog through Frans silliness.
That kind of knee-jerking.
FWIW, those are not URLs. What about your knee-jerk: jerking from some major Biden Administration mistakes to a petty list of personal peeves?

FWIW, those are not URLs.
They could be supplied for those wishing to read your silly ideas on the topics provided. And have been in the past here!

Read em and weep sir.

Had I known you'd reply to my post today, I would have removed the word "Knee" as this would be more appropriate for your carpet staining replies.
Frans, do you believe anyone here or on PhotoNet has ever taken you seriously? There is so much evidence I can supply for your newer reader's that the answer is no.
Wouldn't your time be better spent on a hobby than asking more silly questions here that are over your pay grade?
I would have suggested you try photography but this is probably a better set of 7 for you to consider:

Voters Largely Support Afghanistan Withdrawal Even If It Means Al-Qaeda Resurgence, Poll Finds
From the lefty site, Forbes
https://www.forbes.com/sites/nicholasreimann/2021/08/25/voters-largely-support-afghanistan-withdrawal-even-if-it-means-al-qaeda-resurgence-poll-finds/?sh=627032f359e3
What isn't stunning, is taking polls and jerking knees about them when the situation is still evolving. As a mere 5 days show.
Your poll is five days old compared to today's' poll results I posted above.  A lot has happened in the last five days to change American minds and wake people up.  They now realize what we're facing if we're going back to the Taliban with Al Khaida already entrenched in their group.  It's as if nothing's changed in twenty years prior to the 9-11 attack.  People see the danger in that even if you don't.

They also seem to care more about American and Afghan supporters stuck there than Biden. He seems to write  them off for domestic political reasons.  A president is suppose to protect these people, especially American citizens.  That's his job.

Finally, isn't he the least embarrassed by what's happening to American prestige and honor?  To let a bunch of savages run us out of Afghanistan like the Russians ran.  It's revolting.

Exactly sir. It is why I actually posted the date. This IS an evolving situation.

Al Qaeda is already entrenched in with the Taliban.  That's why we went into Afghanistan in the first place because the Taliban refused to reject them.  So now we already have Al Qaeda involved.  The second in command of the Taliban is Al Qaeda Haqqani network group leader.  The Taliban made a promise as part of the Trump deal not to protect Al Qaeda.  They violated that agreement.  So now we're running anyway.  So what's going to happen in 6 months?  Will we have to go back to stop Al Qaeda and the Taliban again?  We might have just stayed to prevent them from taking over.  Reversing that will be a lot harder.

Taliban keep close ties with Al Qaeda despite promise to U.S.
"We believe that the top leadership of Al Qaeda is still under Taliban protection," said the head of the U.N. panel that tracks terrorist groups in Afghanistan.

Al Qaeda is already entrenched in with the Taliban.
And they can now fight each other against Isis-X. Fine with me sir. If Al Khaida wants to join in, that's cool too.

We? No we don't. They do.

So much for Trumps lousily deal(s). Not his first. Had he been reelected (and no, he wasn't thankfully), we'd have left on HIS time table of May.

Isn't that what Trump wanted? NOW you have issue with it?

I didn't know that Al Qaeda was already involved with the Taliban.  We shouldn't be leaving Afghanistan if they are. Al Qaeda did 9-11.  They want world conquest of Islam and will continue.  Fight them now or fight them later, again, when it's more costly.   If Trump had been re-elected, we don't know if he would have pulled out the same way as Biden.  I doubt it.  If he did, he would be just as wrong.

The fact is Biden made the decision.  He could have said conditions have changed, and we have to leave a few thousand there to keep the lid on so Al Qaeda doesn't reinvigorate and attack us again.  I think American voters would have understood. VP Biden's boss Obama did the same thing by pulling out in 2011 in Iraq which created ISIS by leaving a vacuum.  I think we're repeating the same error.  Additionally it sends the wrong message to China, Russian, Iran and other adversaries of ours.  North Korea just started up their nuclear factory again. No one's afraid of Biden.

Back to the morons and horse dewormer:
Quote
Republicans Bravely Defend Americans’ Rights to Treat COVID With Horse Dewormer
Rather than focusing on promoting safe, effective vaccines, Senators Ron Johnson and Rand Paul are taking aim at the FDA for warning against using ivermectin.
Dr Ron Johnson (not)
Quote
the Wisconsin senator is among the GOP lawmakers claiming that the agency’s opposition to ivermectin is not because it hasn’t been shown to be effective for treating or preventing COVID-19, or the uptick in poison control calls from people who have taken it, but the result of political bias. In issuing a warning against the use of ivermectin, the FDA is “doing far more than dismissing me, they’re attacking me,”
Ah, no. It hasn't been shown to be effective for treating or preventing Covid-19 and the yes, it poisons morons who take it (thankfully?).

This is based on new information you just discovered today?
Maybe we should consider leaving some of these decisions to the professionals who actually have an idea of what's going on.
Some never let near complete ignorance of a subject (in this case, leaving Afghanistan) get in their way of having strong opinions about it.

Biden made his decision to pull out totally based on domestic polls not on professional advice of his generals who wanted to leave troops.  His decision will turn out as bad as Obama's decision to pull out of Iraq and let ISIS grow.  He's encouraged our adversaries  to push the envelope.  Nothing good will come of it.

Tell your readers here, which specific generals told you this sir?
Or is this yet another of your assumptions.
Some never let near complete ignorance of a subject (in this case, the advice given to the President by generals) get in their way of having strong opinions about it.
And while on the ongoing topic of morons:

Mississippi Governor Tate Reeves, in remarks Saturday, said that people in the state were "less scared" of Covid-19 because they believe in "eternal life," as new infections reach record levels and hospitalizations spike. Reeves made the remarks to a gathering of state Republicans at a fundraiser last Thursday in Eads, reported The Daily Memphian.

Top US general disagrees with Trump over Syria troop pullout
By Barbara Starr, CNN Pentagon Correspondent, and Bianca Britton, CNN
Updated 5:37 PM EST, Sun February 17, 2019

Muscat, Oman(CNN) The US commander who has been leading the war against ISIS told CNN Friday that he disagreed with Donald Trump's decision in December to pull troops out of Syria and warned that the terror group was far from defeated, in a stark difference of opinion with the President.
Joseph Votel, the top American general in the Middle East, also said that the US-backed forces on the ground in Syria were not ready to handle the threat of ISIS on their own.

Once again you missed the point Alan. And the formatting. My Comment was about the president not listening to his generals. Try examining your accusations against Biden before replying to defend Trump.

You're incorrect and the article is two years old.  Trump left 900 troops on Syria.  Biden hasn't removed them. They're still there. The removal of all troops in Afghanistan on the other hand is totally Bidens.

I don’t know if you are purposely trying not to understand this, or if you are really struggling with it.

Tell your readers here, which specific generals told you this sir?

Your lost again in the bubble; Trump didn't follow the advice or even speak to that general and earlier lost Mattis in the mix. Worse than Biben you, without a lick of proof accused him of doing earlier. What generals told you this about Bideb I have to ask AGAIN? Maybe viewing instead of reading is more effective to explain this?

Who cares what a 2019 article says?  That's old news. The fact is, when Trump left office in Jan 2021, there were 900 troops in Syria.  So either the article is wrong, or Trump changed his mind.  The point is, in  either case, he left the troops.  Presidents are suppose to change their minds if the circumstances change.

In any case, Biden could have changed his mind in Afghanistan and left some troops there as could have Trump had he been re-elected.  And run the pullout more effectively.

Frankly, I hope it works out that the Taliban keeps the lid on everything as they're promising.  It's just that with Al Qaeda already involved with them, we should be concerned  about terrorist attacks in the west again in the future.

Who cares about the crap you make up Alan; that’s not old news.
The article that you can’t wrap your head around isn’t wrong Allan. Trump didn’t listen to his generals. It’s OK if Trump does it but not OK if Biden does it in your bubble. And of course you can’t prove what you said about Biden and his generals.
And you wonder why people here don’t take you seriously?

Trump did listen to his generals in the end.  Who cares what he thought in 2019.  Maybe the generals hadn't convinced him yet in 2019.  In any case, he changed his mind and left troops in Syria in the end. That's the point.  Biden didn't.
