Boebert may be in some hot water for what appears to be a pretty blatant conflict of interest.

Thanks! That was well worth watching. It's sad that there are people so gullible, but also too funny at the same time. The guy who does those interviews is really deft and quick on his feet!

As a history lover, I enjoyed his comment regarding George Washington being the first to mandate inoculation. In Washington's time, it was for the smallpox virus. Below are links to a short video about it from PolitiFact or a link to an article from the Library of Congress.

Note: Her initials are M. T. Greene, so I like to think of her as "Empty Greene."

But she's not empty. She's full of ... well, you know!

Well, we here in NC have our own jackass twit representative in Madison Crawthorn. Not up to (down to?) MTG's standards yet, but working hard at it.

Thank you. Fortunately not my district, we have been gerrymandered into a reliably Democratic district. But still Crawthorn is an embarrassment to the whole state.

Natural Selection; slow but steady.

Well, now that makes three conservative radio hosts who were vaccine critics that have died from COVID this month.

On Aug. 4, another Florida conservative radio host who had criticized the coronavirus vaccine, Dick Farrel, died from Covid-19 complications. Farrel, whose given name was Farrel Austin Levitt, had worked at several radio stations in Florida, including WIOD in Miami and WPBR in Palm Beach, and had served as a fill-in anchor on Newsmax.

He had strongly condemned the coronavirus vaccine, posting on Facebook on July 3, “why take a vax promoted by people who lied 2u all along about masks, where the virus came from and the death toll?” He also criticized Anthony Fauci, the nation’s top infection disease doctor, calling him a “power tripping lying freak,” according to The Washington Post, which reported on his death.

Last week, Phil Valentine, a 62-year-old conservative radio host in Nashville, Tenn., who had questioned the necessity of vaccines, also died from the virus.

It sounds as if Natural Selection is now actively going after the real “power tripping lying freak(s.)”

One more, his age is shocking:
Quote
Caleb Wallace, a Texas anti-mask organizer, has died at the age of 30 after contracting COVID-19.
And this as part of the story is also shocking:
Quote
At first, he declined to get tested for COVID-19 or go to the hospital, she said. He medicated using ivermectin—a drug that's often used to treat parasites in people and animals, and which the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has said shouldn't be used to treat COVID-19—along with zinc, aspirin, Vitamin C and an inhaler, the newspaper reported.

New Afghanistan poll.  The results are stunning.

A new ABC News/ Ipsos poll conducted after Thursday's deadly Kabul airport attack found that only 38 percent of Americans support the way President Joe Biden is handling the situation in Afghanistan. That marked a decline from the 55 percent of Americans who said in an ABC News/Ipsos survey from July that they approved of it.

The new poll was taken on August 27-28 after the suicide bombing outside the Hamid Karzai Airport that claimed the lives of 13 U.S. service members and over 160 Afghans.

The survey also found that 84 percent of Americans believe that U.S. troops should stay in Afghanistan until all Americans are evacuated regardless of the mission's deadline this Tuesday. Additionally, 71 percent of respondents think that U.S. troops should stay until all Afghan allies who assisted the U.S. are evacuated.

Voters Largely Support Afghanistan Withdrawal Even If It Means Al-Qaeda Resurgence, Poll Finds

What isn't stunning, is taking polls and jerking knees about them when the situation is still evolving. As a mere 5 days show.

...jerking knees about them...
What knee-jerk reactions are you talking about? Maybe giving up Bagram airbase? Maybe giving the Taliban a list of Americans and Afghanistan people who helped the US? Depending on the Taliban for safety of those people? Letting the Taliban determine when we have to leave and abandoning tens of thousands of those people? That kind of knee-jerking?

What knee-jerk reactions are you talking about?
Many of yours, when you once again return to take a dump on the carpet here (instead of showing us you can take a photo).
You have this odd habit and posting agenda of asking questions of others, when your posting history and agenda show/prove, you have no desire or ability to accept any answer. Proof of concept (a partial list):

Flicker, eyestrain or headache when using a monitor with LED backlighting?
AND:
How do you like your 23" NEC P232W-BK-SV with LED backlighting?
AND:
Three different color calculators can't be wrong, can they?
Do SoLux bulbs meet color temp specs?
And (push back) again:
NEC SpectraView update doesn't work
NEC PA242W with SpectraView problems
NEC P242W with SpectraView weird flicker
Epson R2880 suddenly prints with reddish color cast
And:
Photoshop Elements 2018 doesn't report Exposure Compensation
And:
How to backup Elements 2018 Camera RAW Database in Windows 7?
Add inability to understand Adobe or the need to not blindly update an OS when running a four version old copy of that product.
And:
ACR Histogram misunderstanding
And (thankfully I missed this slug fest of Frans):
In-camera RAW histograms
And:
Elements print bug.
Actual URLs for anyone who would pain themselves to slog through Frans silliness.
That kind of knee-jerking.
