Do you know if it can open Sigma FX3 files from a DP2 Quattro ?
Thanks.

The complete list of supported cameras is here:
http://www.iridientdigital.com/products/rawdeveloper_cameras.html
As far as I can see the Sigma DP" Quattro is not (yet?) supported.

Thank you.
I don't see it on the list either.
But I couldn't help hoping.

Iridient Developer reads DNG files, so you might convert to that format if possible.

None of the Sigma Merril cameras are presently supported by Adobe DNG Converter, to the best of my knowledge.

Is it me or is there an unbelievable level of detail and low noise in the conversions that is a level above anything previously available?

I have to think WTF is Adobe thinking? It's like they have the wool pulled over everybody's eyes.

Agreed. I went back and tried reprocessing a bunch of pics that I had used RawTherapee for (specifically for sharpening and noise reduction) and the results from Iridient 3 are amazing. Extra amazing, since it was so easy to achieve! ;)

Nice work Iridient!

(PS: I have noticed 1 or 2 strange artifacts when using the Texture/Micro Detail setting...every now and then I get a few "hot pixels" that appear out of nowhere...setting this to 0 seems to take care of it, but it's strange artifacting nonetheless)

thx--

Been a big fan since the old Raw Developer days dating back to 2006.

Iridient Developper 3 is probably best in class at extracting detail while controlling noise.

The full size jpg image below was shot with a D810 and Otus 55mm f1.4 at... f1.4 (this is such an amazing lens).

I went for a very crisp rendering, some may prefer something a bit softer. This works really well in print.

Cheers,
Bernard

Does anybody know where I might fine some commentary or information on working Iridient Developer into an existing Lightroom/Photoshop/Lightroom workflow?

Thanks in advance.

The only logical way I can think of is to use ID to render the raw, bring it into Photoshop if necessary and if you must include LR, it would only be for cataloging, printing the rendered data from ID. You've got a raw and one or more raw converters so pick the converter you prefer and move on.

Looking on the net suggests that ID is a good processor for Fuji sensors. I don't use Fuji, so I never looked further.

This http://www.nomadlens.com/raw-converters-comparison comparison ranks Iridient developer alongside photo ninja, but behind DXO and Capture One. But "It is the clear winner in this review when it comes to extracting the maximum amount of detail from an image".

I haven't seen a way of using the Lightroom lens correction profiles with Iridient developer. Is that possible?  It's such ancillary features, including local adjustments, and the easy workflow that keeps Lightroom in business, much as I would like the additional detail.
