Jim, Echo the "really nice" ours is usually a blanket which can be effective.
May I , drops voice to a low whisper knowing we don't talk technical here, and one word is enough, ask APO? (I'm looking at those at the moment)

P45+ and some lens, probably Planar 100/3.5 at f/11 1/4s. Full size here:http://echophoto.smugmug.com/Technical/P45-Samples/i-trvCtvm/0/O/20150312-CF046137.jpg

The image is stitched from two exposures. Somewhat overprocessed in Lightroom, I think.

Best regards
Erik

Still fighting on the Hass front - might have to keep it due to things like the HTS.  3 shots tall (shift up, center, down) , 26 shots wide (Novoflex Pano VR II) where it's 18 from the left, then reposition and get 8 from the right.  H4D-50 with HTS and 150mm (yes, it isn't on the list of approved lenses, but works if you don't fully shift :).  2% 'crop' - full size is 94265x13299 or 1,253MP.

Tele-Apotessar. I understand there were several versions. The SN for this one is 743xxxx, if that helps. I haven't used it in years.

Appreciated.
I understand a change around 1989 to the close focus distance that's all, it would look impressive on the A7 series  ;D it may even damp the shutter!!

Very nice image Erik, don't think it's over-processed at all, great colors.

This, straight out of camera, Leica S2 with my new 24mm @ f9,5

Hi,

This is an image which I feel may make MFD some justice:

The image may not be remarkable:

But the crop below may show some good detail. Print large and look close:

Best regards
Erik

Joe, that sign cracked me up! If I am not mistaken, it reads: "NO DOG POOPING violators will have their noses rubbed in it" :) Philadelphia?

Well spotted, Slobodan!

Are the "violators" the dogs or their owners? I would love to see an owner's nose rubbed into their dog's shit.

LMAO

Yes, that is exactly what that sign says.  I have walked by it so many times, I did not even realize it was in the image until seeing your post.

Roger, I can't think of a better, or more likely, place than South Philly for something like that to happen.  Well, maybe Florida?   ;)

In honor of the Rollei factory getting auctioned off, I thought I'd post an image I took with my Rolleiflex.

Thank you, Slobodan. You're too kind. The presence of those towers truly is something otherworldly, and hard to screw up in capturing.

I really wish I had a live view idea of my framing on that image. It feels off balance to me.  I should have chosen a wider lens or panned right.

But then again I love to complain. Hindsight, etc etc.
