Over the past three years, I traveled to all 50 states (plus Washington DC) to take portraits of Americans for a project that I call Neighbors. A few weeks ago, I installed a selection of 86 portraits along a park in the Lower East Side of NYC. You can find them between 1st and 2nd Ave on Houston Street. Stretching over the length of almost two football fields, it's probably the biggest and most viewed exhibition of photography in the US at the moment. The installation will be up until the first week of July.

All photos shot on either the Hasselblad H5 or X1D.

Congratulations and thanks for bringing your work to our attention.  I wish I were close by to view the installation.

An image from a workshop I gave with Tim Wolcott for Phase One last autumn.

Really nice B and W work, Bernard, delicate texture plus high contrast - sweet.
Stevenfr, light to die for in your photo - gorgeous.

Thank you NancyP. Bernard as always, beautiful image. We are booked back to Japan next January. Looking forward to it. We will bring more food this time. Finding Gluten free food was a bit of a challenge.
