Envious, a field of tulips... Strawberry Fields. In youth, did bruise my hands through the poison to tissue of hands planting a naturalized field of tulips. Lasted for years. Trying to work a bit of that magic here on the island but with the existing woods and alongshore areas.

Patricia, you manage to interweave the ordinary with the extraordinary when you write. Thank you for the comments. One last look. Any more and it would be cruel.

I spied a 10-toothed ice monster near the banks of the river yesterday, and thought I should document its presence for all to see.  ;)

A couple from Indiana last fall:

The first one is a fall indeed. The second is more like slip and fall ;)

Yea Larry, you're out of control. Why can't you be less flamboyant and go in one direction, like sideways.

The first: Wow
Thanks, Rab. It was on a small puddle in a normally dry part of our local woods.

Make that two wows! Lots of things to see in that one.

Yes, the snow puddle does have a surreal quality. But I do like the blue ice image with its array of glass-like lines that radiate in all directions.

Of course it is recognizable, but it is somewhat abstract.

Not very recognizable to me (I wasn't there when you shot it), but very nicely abstract.

Thank you Eric. You are right. I wasn't thinking. Of course, not everyone is from Toronto.
