Death Valley.
Thank you Eric and MIke.

Larry, love this mushroom colored desert landscape. Wonderful movement of shapes and shadows.

I have decided this looks abstract enough to post on this thread. The original is good in its own right, but as this is a creative image for a friendly competition, I decided to alter it.

Another nice one, Larry.  Sadly, I've never visited Death Valley.

Nice ones, John and Slobodan.
I must admit that when I first saw John's, I thought it might be from Slobodan, who is usually the "abstract building king."

Thank you Eric. Yes Slobodan has some mighty fine architectural abstracts. But does he have a spaceship like this! Come to think of it, I bet he does.

Nice one, Rab.
And it certainly would not work in B&W.

Was about to say the same. Well done Rab.

A large percentage of my images will not work in BW because they rely on color combinations like this image.

No, I don't. But were we in the Chain thread, I would offer something like this in response ;)

P.S. Nice one, Rabanito

Excellent image. The triangle in your image is an excellent follow up and match for my 'spaceship'.

I took this one today. It has energy, I think. Would have preferred all the flowers to be coloured and not white, but alas, it was not to be. Doesn't matter though, because the greenhouse and all its flowers brought joy to my day.

Edit: added a second image.
