Oscar, we can't go on meeting like this!
:-)
When our queen was succeeded by her son, they asked a rather famous local composer to score a special song for the occasion. As soon as the music was first heard, many people commented it sounded all too familiar, even suggesting plagiarism.
Obviously, that composer isn't quite as stupid to commit plagiarism for such a public occasion, but the music did indeed seem too much a copy of some other obscure piece of music. (At least not exactly a source for semi-copying the masterpiece of your lifetime).
Then i wondered: how does inspiration happen? I mean it could well be that he'd be having an entertaining meal at some obscure Chin. Ind. Spec. Rest. where they have some obscure background music playing, which he, being the composer he is, subconsciously registers and couples to a pleasing evening.
Years later he thinks he conceives an inspirational new melody to attribute to the new king.
So, here then is hoping you didn't publish this picture previously at some obscure website where i shouldn't have been visiting in the first place...
