Ed, I exposed the outside of the building in low direct light. In that capture the windows and shadow areas were quite dark. After the sunset I exposed another image of the inside light (windows) and light spilling out onto the walls which were brought into the first capture as a lightened blend mode. There's usually additional voodoo but that's the majority of it. Jim

Beautiful auto work on your website there, haefnerphoto.

I like good car work, but to be honest, a lot of it just flashes before the eyes. It's nice to see something that makes me stop & look properly again.

Stunning car shots on your website. The best I've seen. Thank goodness I don't compete with you for work! You seem to have picked up a few tricks in 30 years. To use a word that's greatly over used, but in this case justified, your work is awesome.

No kidding. It looks like a few of those shots are of one of the six Bugatti Royales, and the boat tail roadster may be a short wheelbase Duesenberg. Not too many of us will ever see either of those, much less get paid to photograph them.

Would you be so kind to exclude the Elinchrom logo when you post your images, please? What's especially nice about these forums courtesy of Michael R. is that it's free from advertisements.

Yes please remove it, because the B&H logo at the LL front webpage is not advertisement it's only a logo. And after that we can all remove our names from our pictures too so none knows who took them...

You may not know him, but Billy is a kind polite man with an excellent reputation so I can promise you any request he makes should be taken with that thought in mind.

I don't like logos on public forums just because it takes away from the spirit intended and even Michael has limited the advertising on his main site to just a few companies and his own products, but the real difference is it's his site to do with as he pleases.

Personally, I don't put a single logo on my pictures, but I don't understand why Frank should be removing his logo or advertisement. You are claiming this site as advertisement-free when it's not. Maybe this website should be paying these photographers for their images instead... How many professional photographers put their work online for free? At least let people present their pictures as they want. I personally dislike more the B&H logo than Frank's ad.
