I still see the driver dated 12/12/06 listed. Are you seeing something that I don't?

I'm with Jim.  For Windows I can see the firmware all right but there's no new driver available yet.

This might be a case of Europe being ahead of the US.  The latest drivers for me are still not updated.

Any idea if / when they will post an updated Windows driver?

I was going to profile several new papers today, and if HP is going to post a new driver soon, I'll wait a bit.

Don't see it from the Driver Download page on the HP site, but you can get the updated firmware for Windows if you use the link from the HP Easy software.

Has anyone yet installed the new firmware?  Does it work OK in the absence of the corresponding new driver?  Or should we wait for the new driver?

Also, as I posted in another thread, the tech paper for the new firmware lists a number of paper presets that it says are available for download, but I can't find those either.

Still no new Windows drivers.  HP must be asleep at the wheel.

I'm on a Mac (& z3100 24") and having all sorts of problems getting the correct files. I originally found and downloaded the newest driver but when I went to install it all of my choices were foreign - no English version. So I trashed that one, then could not even find the driver listed anywhere. I eventually found the firmware and downloaded it OK (have not installed it yet), but now when I am able to locate the newest driver and try to download it I keep getting an "unable to mount disk" error message. I found that sometimes going through the normal channel via either the web or HP Printer Utility I am not shown the driver, but after clicking through several more windows - the very same windows I had just clicked through - then sometimes the driver is listed (but I get the same error message). Seems like there are several of the very same windows on the HP site linked to their download paths, some have the driver on them and some don't. So far I am unable to complete all this mess but I guess I'll just keep trying. I've been very unhappy with this most expensive printer since I took delivery back in January and am hoping Epson will come out with their new version soon so I can throw this one away...

I have Z3100 24" with MacPro, connected via ethernet. I downloaded both printer driver and firmware, and updated my printer without a hitch. The firmware update took less than 10 minutes, printer started up by itself, and functioning perfectly.

I am in process of re-calibrating and profiling paper

Pay attentions to what you are downloading, select proper OS, Language, etc. Once it start updating the firmware, leave alone both computer and printer until it completes.

Type 'designjet.com' then it will take you to the proper site (https://h41186.www4.hp.com/hpp/country/us/en/home.html?pageseq=997313)
Select 'Download' from side bar. then 'firmware', 'drivers', etc.
Select proper printer, language, etc.

It is rather simple. Take time.

Are you logging in with your HP userid?  (HP Passport, I think).

As far as I have been able to ascertain, only the MAC fimrware has been posted which is what I think JayMoon is using.
