Like in all other courtries. Half of the number of people have below average intelligence ...

Which probably explains why disaster is not a uniquely US phenomenon. Just look at the UK voting pattern and see the mirrored image. It flips from one useless, compromised party to the other, and then the voter wonders why nothing changes through politics, but only through some kind of groundswell of irresistible public opinion, possibly for the better, but there are no guarantees of that being the outcome.
The basic problem facing the system is that it isn’t being run for the good of the general public. It is nothing more than an employment choice, designed to provide those with the stomach to be involved in politics with a good career, and often amazing post-office prospects in business and in terms of pension schemes. I never heard of a retired politician having heating bill problems. Just think of the huge number of people who have exactly that, as well as the equally difficult task of having enough money to last them the month, every month. Yet, it’s their vote that keeps the fat cat purring, the lies swirling, and the poor guy pretty much forever in his place at the bottom of life’s ladder.
Can I come up with a better plan? Nope; I believe the mistake was ever to believe it could be any different. The basic lie spun all through the web of deceit is that all people are equal, when even a cursory glance at the people we actually know tells it isn’t so. The world will always be a hierarchal place with top people and dogsbodies. It’s in the nature of Man to be like that, as it is to gravitate to his level of success as of failure. The rest is wishful thinking.
