When I think back about Trump's foreign policy accomplishments, I'm still astounded:
  • He persuaded North Korea to abandon its missile program.
  • He arranged for Iran to stop enriching uranium.
  • He improved relationships with all our North American and European trading partners;
  • He negotiated a pan-Asian agreement that thwarted predatory Chinese economic practices;
  • He convinced Vladimir Putin to
    • stop threatening Ukraine;
    • cease interference in U.S. and European elections;
    • behave respectfully toward his domestic political opponents.
And, of course, through leadership by example he restored respect throughout the world for the American political system and the role of the United States as the leading proponent of rules-based international relations.
Trump:
-Stopped the use of chemical weapons in Syria
-Finished off ISIS and killed their leader restoring more stability in Iraq and Afghanistan
-Prevented war in North Korea and stopped ICBM and nuke testing
-Killed General Soleimani, Iran's chief architect of Meddle East influence for them and the killer of hundreds of American soldiers over the decades.
-Increased US Navy presence in the South China Sea to keep China on their toes instead of running hog-wiled as they were doing under Obama
-Re-did trade agreements with Canada and Mexico giving more advantage to America.
-Move the American embassy in Israel to Jerusalem as voted for by the US Congress
-Created tariffs to pressure China to stop stealing trade secrets and other unfair economic policies, that are still being maintain by Biden.
-Forced many NATO members to increase spending on defense that they were slack on.
-Influenced many Arab states to have diplomatic relations with Israel ending decades of hostility.

Was all his foreign policies success or completed?  No.  But no president gets his way on everything.  The point is he completed or started some really good policies.  You ought to give him some credit.  Meanwhile Biden's failure in Afghanistan is encouraging our enemies around the world.   I wish him success.  Certainly, our country could use it.

When I think back about Trump's foreign policy accomplishments, I'm still astounded:
What is astounding is his sycophant's ideas of all he 'accomplished' by himself.
It is impossible to puncture the unreality bubble surrounding his sycophant's ideas.

. . . no president gets his way on everything.

And we can all certainly be grateful for that.

I think I can say without fear of contradiction that as long as American democracy survives, we will never have another president like Donald Trump.

And we can all certainly be grateful
Meanwhile Trump got what he wanted for his friends and we end up here:
Quote
AT&T on Tuesday said it would delay deployment of 5G service at towers near some U.S. after airlines warned that the rollout would cause flight cancellations.
The statement came just hours after the Biden administration said it was in talks with telecom companies, government agencies and airlines about the dispute.
What Trump wanted and got:

https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2020/10/trump-pentagon-5g-deal-karl-rove-peter-thiel/amp
OCTOBER 21, 2020
Quote
White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows is apparently doing Donald Trump’s bidding in a pressure campaign for a 5G wireless deal that would directly benefit the president’s allies. CNN reported Tuesday evening that, according to a number of senior administration officials, the White House is urging the Pentagon to fast track “what would essentially be a no-bid contract to lease the Department of Defense's mid-band spectrum—premium real estate for the booming and lucrative 5G market—to Rivada Networks, a company in which prominent Republicans and supporters of President Donald Trump have investments.” Among those stakeholders is Fox News commentator and GOP strategist Karl Rove, who is also a lobbyist for Rivada.
And the same month:
Quote
FAA has 'deep concern' about 5G network plan on aviation safety -- letter
WASHINGTON, Oct 29 (Reuters) - The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has raised significant concerns about a plan to use spectrum for 5G wireless networks on aviation safety and is planning to issue a formal warning about the issue, according to sources and a letter seen by Reuters.

Must be a mystery to you then why Trump didn't get re-elected.

He, like so many sycophants, may believe Trump did get re-elected.
Of course, he wasn't re-elected. And for good reason.

Well, they said he would never be elected the first time too.  Who knows?  If Biden is still around running, Americans may be happy to have him back.  ;)

Well, American democracy might not survey if Democrats do away with rules to prevent election fraud.  I'm including the rules in my blue democratic controlled state of NY and NJ.   Even these states, as liberal as they are, have these rules.  But Democrats in congress want to assure their re-elections by doing away with them.

What election fraud? Show us proof and data of this (other than the few republicans in Florida that got caught voting for Trump more than once).
Quote
A fourth retiree from The Villages has been arrested as part of an ongoing investigation into voter fraud at the well-known central Florida retirement community. Charles Franklin Barnes, 64, was taken to Sumter County Jail on Tuesday night, and faces a charge of fraud, according to a spokesperson for the county sheriff’s office. Three other residents of The Villages, all reportedly registered as Republicans, were arrested last year for allegedly casting ballots in both Florida and their home states. Soon after, Lake County officials said they’d handed another six potential cases of double voting over to prosecutors. Though records show Barnes is not registered with a political party in Florida, he allegedly voted there in the 2020 presidential election, as well as in Connecticut, where he is registered to vote. The Orlando Sentinel reports that Barnes was released from jail on a $2,000 bond.
This is why you're never taken seriously here:
Well, American democracy might not survey if Democrats do away with rules to prevent election fraud.

The House committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol issued subpoenas Tuesday to Rudy Giuliani and three other allies of former President Donald Trump involved in efforts to overturn the 2020 election results.
The committee said Giuliani, Jenna Ellis, Sidney Powell and Boris Epshteyn "publicly promoted unsupported claims about the 2020 election and participated in attempts to disrupt or delay the certification of election results."

Speaking about mob. Now they channeled their energy to train robbing.

Quote
Union Pacific said last month in a letter to the Los Angeles District Attorney that it saw a 160% year-over-year increase in theft in L.A. County. The company claims that a December 2020 special directive issued by District Attorney George Gascón that changed how low-level offenses are prosecuted has contributed to the uptick.

Union Pacific said in its letter that in the last three months of the year it made over 100 arrests of "active criminals vandalizing our trains" in partnership with the L.A. police department and Los Angeles Sherriff department. But Union Pacific, which has its own police department with jurisdiction over the 32,000 miles of tracks it owns, said that even as it has expanded its security resources and partnered more closely with local law enforcement, the problem isn't going away. After being arrested individuals are released from custody within 24 hours, it said.

Crime is associated with increases in poverty, which has increased during the pandemic. The county's directive was intended to combat social ills that come from misdemeanor convictions, such as difficulties with employment, housing, education, government benefits and immigration.

"Studies show that prosecution of the offences driving the bulk of misdemeanor cases have minimal, or even negative, long-term impacts on public safety," Gascón said when the directive was issued.

There is no serious election fraud as has been shown innumerable times. Yet the GOP keeps bleating this crap and all too many people fall for it. And you are one of those people. Why? Have you no self-respect?
