"Raising monster men" is in the news. I could not help but point out this story, https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/north-carolina-madison-cawthorn-masculinity-b1940849.html. The North Carolina GOP representative is very worried about the de-masculinization of men and wants American mothers to do something about it.

But it would be pointless to ask him such a question. As it is to ask him any questions. Unless you like digging into rabbit holes.  ;)

OK, you wascally wabbit, here goes.

Alan, what wars did Trump keep you out of?

A list devoid of expository comments would suffice.

What do you mean by "They practically own your Vancouver." Are you saying the Chinese government owns a lot of real estate in Vancouver or are you just worried that a lot of Asians live there?

Not all Vancouver. About 500,000 people in greater Vancouver have Chinese heritage, representing roughly 20 percent of the population, according to Canada's latest census. Richmond, just south of Vancouver, has now over 50 percent of Chinese residents. The 2016 Vancouver census shows 48.6% as Europeans. This percentage is expected to decline to 37.9% by 2036.

Meng Wanzhou, the Huawei executive is one of the part-time Chinese residents in that city. She owns there 2 homes worth $18 million. One way to get around the immigration quotas to Canada is the birth tourism. Below is an article from last year about birth tourism in Vancouver and Richmond in BC. Just one company provided services to 6,000 women to deliver their babies in BC. There are many other companies in BC and other Canadian provinces that offer similar services.

Quote
A maternity and baby store, located at 8171 Ackroyd Road, is listed as the Canadian address for a China-based company, which is dedicated to helping pregnant women give birth overseas. The store also operates a confinement centre, according to the website of parent company Mei Ya Jia Bao – translated by the Richmond News – established in Richmond in 2015.

That parent company, which lists its headquarters in Beijing, also operates Canada World Overseas Investment Consulting Inc., and Colombian International Travel Ltd., which provide travel and visa application services. Incorporation certificates for all three companies, issued by the provincial government, are posted on Mei Ya Jia Bao’s website. Meanwhile, the website and service agreements are only in Chinese. The website states the company has successfully helped more than 6,000 families in China travel to Canada to give birth, and offers service packages that include visa applications and confinement centre care.

Mei Ya Jia Bao is far from the only company to set up shop in Richmond – for example, Beijing-based Leading Baby states its Canadian branch is on Westminster Highway. “My office did find advertising on websites in China promoting birth tourism in Richmond,” said Johal. “The fact that they set up businesses, an office here, is concerning enough.

"perfidy?"   They probably learned it all at American M.B.A. schools.  :)

Why is it bad for China to have a large economy but good for the US to do so? Ditto for their military. Are you saying they don't have a right to defend themselves but the US does? How do you arrive at that distinction?

What military secrets did they steal, that's news to me.

What do you mean by "They practically own your Vancouver." Are you saying the Chinese government owns a lot of real estate in Vancouver or are you just worried that a lot of Asians live there?

Nothing wrong with them being an economic power.  It's just that they steal intellectual property and they insist they have a right to do that.  So your photo copyrights are worthless in China.  Of course, they've stolen us blind on military secrets as well.  Just look at the stealth fighters.  They look like ours.  Do you think they did all the R&D research to develop all those armaments on their own?  The FBI estimates China steals between $200-$600 billion in secrets from us every year. The danger to our security and economy is more important.  To your Canada as well.  Are you happy that Hong Kongese aren't free anymore?  Do you want to see the Taiwanese lose their freedom too?  Who's next?  You really need to get up to speed on these matters.

Just a few examples:

Since at least 2013, a Chinese espionage group called TEMP.Periscope by FireEye is reported to have been engaged in espionage against maritime-related subjects.[60] FireEye reported that the information targeted was likely of commercial and economic importance.[60]

The People's Liberation Army (PLA) was tied to economic espionage involving stolen business plans, intellectual property, and infringed on private conversations from Westinghouse Electric and United States Steel Corporation.[61]

Chinese hackers have stolen information on the Patriot missile system, the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, and the U.S. Navy's new Littoral combat ship. These blueprints of U.S. weapon and control systems were stolen to advance the development of Chinese weaponry.[62]

The protection of the South China Sea is highly important to the U.S. because a Chinese Cyber Unit has already succeeded in an intrusion into the Philippine's government and military networks. Military documents, internal communications, and other sensitive materials related to the dispute were lost due to the cyber invasion.[63]

In January and February 2018, Chinese hackers reportedly stole 614 gigabytes of data from a Naval Undersea Warfare Center-affiliated contractor.[64] The compromised material reportedly included information on a project dubbed "Sea Dragon", as well as United States Navy submarine cryptographic systems and electronic warfare.[64]

The New York Times reported that Russia and China are routinely eavesdropping on calls from an iPhone used by President Donald Trump, with China reportedly attempting to influence the President by identifying and influencing the people Trump is regularly in contact with.[65][66]

According to the cybersecurity firm Area 1, hackers working for the People's Liberation Army Strategic Support Force compromised the networks of the AFL–CIO in order to gain information on negotiations for the Trans-Pacific Partnership.[67]

How can you list the wars we avoided.  It's the wars we're not in.   The left and Democrats claimed he was gettng us into WWIII.  I hope Biden does as well.

Regarding Chinese theft, it's not just the shape of stealth aircraft design they stole.  It's the metallurgy and avionics that's hidden that they stole as well.

Don't expect an answer, expect a diversion onto another silly assumption.
Oh wait, that's exactly what happened. Again.

Trump kept us out of wars and ended some.
Then:
How can you list the wars we avoided.

Good thing Alan has no Mac's or iPads, or iPods, or iPhones: the horror:
Quote
Apple CEO Tim Cook “secretly” struck a deal with China in which he agreed to invest around $275 billion of Apple’s money to boost the country’s economy and “technological prowess,” according to a new report.
The five-year agreement was allegedly made during a series of visits Cook made to China in 2016 amid growing regulatory hostilities toward Cupertino. Since then, Apple has become China’s biggest smartphone brand.

Let me get this straight: You made the statement that he'd kept you out of wars. Now you're saying that it's impossible to know which wars he kept you out of?

All of them.  There are no new wars.  Stop playing word games.

Regarding Chinese theft, I gave you a link that describes all the stealing and espionage they've been doing.  Have you read it?

Here's what your own country's chief spy says about China stealing Canadian secrets.  If you don't care about American losses, maybe you'll care about your own country's.

CANADA | News
Spy chief says China is bent on stealing Canadian secrets, silencing critics
OTTAWA -- The head of the Canadian Security Intelligence Service warns that China is undermining Canada through its efforts to steal valuable technology and silence critics of Beijing's policies.

In a speech Tuesday sponsored by the Centre for International Governance Innovation, CSIS director David Vigneault said all sectors of Canadian society must work together to fend off these threats.

Well he destroyed almost all of ISIS, their leader, and the territory they conquered, a war started under the Obama administration when he pulled troops out of Iraq when told not to.  He refused to get lured into a conflict with Turkey and help the Kurds create a nation on Turkish, Iranian, Iraqi, and Syrian lands. When North Korea was testing nukes and sending ICBM's and we almost got into a war with them early in his term. He met with their leader, cooled things down, and got them to stop testing the nukes and ICBMs.  War was averted.

Meanwhile, Biden lost  Afghanistan to the Taliban and Al Queda and now is facing a possible invasion of Russian troops into Ukraine.   Biden's weakness and fecklessness in Afghanistan only encouraged the Russians to do what they're doing.  Who knows what the Chinese are up to? They're are watching and will move on Taiwan if Biden continues to appear weak.  If the Russians move on Canada, I think you're on your own.  :)

I'm glad gas prices are going down.  That's one for Biden.  The problem is the Fed is still printing and all the money they want to spend above taxes received will keep prices going higher.  It all depends on what's happening right before the election.  We could even go into a recession because of inflation.
