Only for idiots - and I only see one person here making the equivalence.
I see you're back to your usual insulting and obnoxious demeanor. Do you chew on a lemon every morning?

I was being provocatively political. Climate change, like the mask, has become a political symbol. Each side uses them as a flag to show which group they belong to.  Unfortunately, their raison d'etre gets lost in the shuffle.
One side to show stupidity and an inability to believe in science.

The stock market goes up today as unemployment claims continue at a brutal pace.  That's crazy.  This number before Covid was around 200,000 per week, a normal amount in a normal operating economy.

Democrat ex-senator Al Franken must be ruminating, what a schmuck I was to resign.

Cuomo harassment scandal poses fresh #MeToo test for Democrats
Senators view the allegations against the New York governor differently than those against Al Franken, who was a colleague.

The Starship started, flew and landed safely. There was an explosion 8 minutes after the landing, but SpaceX considers it as a learning opportunity.
The first flight open for public and paid by the Japenese billionaire is scheduled for 2023. It is reserved for artists, so any LuLa member is eligible.

Precisely.

Alan, please explain to us why The Right find it necessary to politicize concepts like climate change and mask wearing.  It would help us to understand.

This rocket reminds me of those fake-looking rockets you'd see 50 years ago in Hollywood space movies like Flash Gordon with those big wings.  When I first saw it, I thought it wasn't real.

The Starship started, flew and landed safely.

Indeed it did.  In a spectacular display of spaceship circus acrobatics illustrated from liftoff to landing with equally spectacular photography.

Me, I was screaming at the screen with amazement.

If that was all a result of Capitalism’s success and expertise, then The Right just scored some points for “their” side.

Likewise.  Like something from “Flash Gordon” indeed.  However, closer inspection reveals some novel and possibly revolutionary aerospace concepts at work.

It’s not a functioning spaceship, it’s a test mule.

Both sides politicize these issues.  When Biden calls those people who don't wear masks "Neanderthals", he's making a political statement.  It certainly isn't a scientific statement. He's trying to separate "them" from "us".  Masks, climate change, minimum wage, etc. have devolved into political symbols.  Their scientific and economic values are beside the point.

Not believing reality is precisely the mindset I expect of Allan. :'( :'(

Perhaps for some. Certainly not for all. I don't find sweeping generalizations very helpful in advancing the discussion. Saying something is political is not saying very much. Most things are in public life.
