Alan, that is not my point.  I am sure he would not, not to mention client attorney privilege would prevent it anyway.  Although if you are not paid, does client attorney privilege still apply?  I dont know, just like everything else, Andrew.   ;)

The point I am making is that Rudy be-clowned himself several times over in the last four years.  It was more then likely Trump's insistence on constantly requiring public affirmation of loyalty by his employees, but none the less, you have to know when to push back and when to not care what your boss thinks and when to leave.

Bill Barr know all these things, which is why I still have a great deal of respect for him.  But Rudy?

PS, recently a story came out about a meeting Trump had with Barr earlier in December in which Barr told Trump he was being sold a bunch of bull shit.  So while Rudy was telling Trump what he wanted to hear, Barr told him, “I’m a pretty informed legal observer and I can’t fucking figure out what the theory is here, ... It’s just scattershot. It’s all over the hill and gone.”

As much as I liked Trump's policies, I blame him for the losses in GA.  He fought the battle he could not win instead of the battle he would have won if he fought it.  Rudy holds blame here for filling his head with nonsense.
I think more happened in China and Ukraine with the Bidens that is public.  But I agree that Rudy was in bed with Trump.  He made a decision to support him no matter what.  Rudy went downhill after he cheated on his first wife.  It's like he lost his intellectual and moral anchors.

I agree GA was lost because of Trump.  He was in love with himself as usual.  He should have been out there spending all his time helping the Republican candidates.  That's why McConnell is pissed and accuses him of causing the riot at the Capitol.  It's going to get worse for Republicans in 2022 because Trump isn't done. The party needs someone who has the cajones to take on Trump and present a clean-cut yet powerful strong version of Trump who supports the common man to get them to swing their votes away from him.  MAybe Florida governor Santis but I really don't know yet.

Rudy has been sued by Dominion Systems for $1.3 billion and by Smartmatic for $2.7 billion. The SDNY is investigating him for money laundering and probably related crimes. He, along with Trump, the Proud Boys, and the Oath Keepers, just got sued today by the NAACP and a congressman for conspiracy to cause the Capitol riot. I'd say he has his hands full.
I wouldn't think the NAACP has standing to sue.

The 10-second explanation:  ;D

I have for decades been wondering where the opening of "Civil War" came from.  Thanks.

FYI, it was just 9 seconds; learn to Count!

Let's face it, more people like cats.

Gad. I hate cats. I did some quick research and it turns out there is a difference of opinion on whether more people like cats or like dogs. I'm guessing that is because the definition of "like" is kind of slippery. It can mean quite a few things depending on the context. I won't vouch for the truth of anything in this article, but I didn't have anything better to do, so I read it. There will be no quiz afterwards, so don't feel you have to read it, but you can if you want to.

This is the victim culture that's embedded itself on the right, and Tech mentioned...  The base on the right has wholly embraced Trump, and to a lesser extent, QAnon.  They deserve to be called liars 10x over and deplatformed wherever possible. They're the flat-earthers of politics, made more dangerous because, unlike promoting lies about the circumference of the globe, stupid people vote for stupid things and then those stupid people make policy.
You're lumping me and 74 million people into this group QAnon which I never even heard of until recently.  I still don't know who they are.  There are always weirdos on the left and right. Crazies. Do the rioters who looted and burned down businesses last summer represent all people on the left and BLM?  Calling 74 million people stupid is why Hillary lost the 2016 election.  People don;lt think the same or have the same concepts and needs.  We need to work with people who have different views.  There a lot of common ground.  But that requires understanding not hatred.

I did some quick research too, and much prefer the article that says 18% would actually like a dinosaur.  I cant imagine they would be cheap to feed though.

Another thing we agree on Frank.  Not only that, I'm actually allergic to cats and get a rash from them.

Thanks for the support but you missed that these people have caught another virus going around for those on the left.  It's the cancel culture of silencing those whose speech and views they disagree with.  It's anti-democratic in nature and Fascist in spirit.  Their motto is "off with your head" if your beliefs aren't theirs. There's no appreciation that others can have different opinions and needs.  Their attacks on me are just like what happened at the capital.  When there's no police to control the marchers or moderators to control the posts, they turn into a riotous mob.  Soon, there won't be anything left of LuLa.

Boy, it didn't take you long to get sucked into the whole cancel culture thing so popular on the right these days. The thing is the people who claim they have been cancelled are the ones you hear from the most, so I am not exactly sure how they have been cancelled. Seems to me if you were really cancelled we would never hear from you again. You don't see that playing out very much.

What does that mean?  What did he do wrong there that I missed? He was gathering negative information on the Bidens like Hillary did on Trump four years earlier.  All legal although sleazy.

I don't know what happened there. All we know is that Rudy met a number of times with Russians and Ukrainians. Could be that he liked drinking free vodka.

Well as Lindsey Graham said, "I think Sen. McConnell's speech, he got a load off his chest, obviously, but unfortunately he put a load on the back of Republicans,"

It's been going on a long time, for decades.  The media has distorted the news so that the left gets primetime on Pg 1 and conservative views get buried on pg 47.  Now it's the electronic media like Twitter that cancels the president's account and shuts down conservative speech under the phony complaint it's not truthful.  As if only the left has a monopoly on the truth.

Based on the pet portraits posted on this site it seems that an overwhelming majority of photographers prefer dogs. Could be also due to the fact that cats are owned primarily by women who are under represented on this forum.

He was gathering smear stuff on the Bidens, trying to get the Ukrainians to investigate them.  Nothing illegitimate about that.  Nothing as sleazy and unAmerican what Hillary did with the dossier.

The right generally doesn't want to silence the left.  It's the left that refuses to let others believe differently.  The left wants to silence speech and destroy people and businesses that have differing views.  You saw that with Twitter and others like them.  It's the cancel culture. You see leftists rioting to silence conservative speakers on campus.   It's supported by the same people who complained for decades about McCarthyism.

Accusing people of lying is the new tactic today.  You can't have even opinions that are contrary to theirs. You even see the ACLU winking at it; something they would never do in the past. It's very dangerous and will cause people on the right to take up similar tactics just to defend themselves. The whole thing is un-American.   It's all very unfortunate.

Could you give me an example of the ACLU winking at whatever you think they are winking out?

Is saying the news media is publishing "fake news" accusing them of lying, or is that something different?

Yeah, this will all work.  De-platforming and isolating people clearly has a history making them less radical.  Not to mention clearly engaging in rhetoric of insisting everyone in the party believes in conspiracy theories really breeds unity.

James, you have gone off into lay lay land.  Let us know when you get back and are acting like an American again, not wanting to censor people.

Really, you sound no better then a Soviet here calling for censorship.
