Sociopathic malignant narcissists aren't desirable job applicants.
Plus Trump has so few job qualifications.
Oh, he is playing golf again today and he very well might be cheating at the game again.

Hire Trump.  He'll be available next month.

That would certainly be a way to make a bad situation infinitely worse.

Not really -- if you handled it right, it could make the situation a little bit better. That is, you go through prolonged negotiations to hire him, agree to the most elaborate perks, and then, the day after you hire him, you say, "Just kidding. You're fired. Don't let the door hit you in the ass." That would cheer me up quite a lot. And also, 81,000,000 other people.

Trump, but lo and behold Melania is nowhere to be found.
That's because he was on the golf course for 5 hours today; his idea of "working tirelessly"

And he's got Lindsay Graham with him. Can you imagine the best alternative to spending Christmas alone is to spend it with Trump?

I hope by now, Lindsay has learned to gargle afterwards.  ;D

California pushed clean air due to its air pollution years ago.  It forced the auto industry to add catalytic converters to reduce pollution which helped in the rest of the world as well.  Of course, the Germans cheated with their diesel cars for years and choked Americans and the rest of the world with their polluting engines.

That's a bit of an exaggeration but I don't mind.

I remember making a similar comment and Craig reminded me he does have his phone with him. Presumably the guy with the nuclear football is following him around in a golf cart so he is ready at a moments notice. That should make everyone feel safe. Until he duck hooks his drive off the first tee.

Personally, I think everyone would be a lot better off if Trump et al spent even MORE time playing golf. Couple of rounds a day, for months or even years to come. He can even cheat for all I care.

And this just crossed my mind: who's paying for Lindsay's room, meals, greens fees, cart rental, and hot dog and coke at the turn? Are we paying those costs because he's a guest of the president and they are spending all their time between shots plotting what they are going to do to all the Republicans who vote to accept the electoral college votes from the battleground states that went for Biden when Congress meets on January 6th to count votes? I kind of hope Trump gets eaten by an alligator when he goes to fish his ball out of the pond in front of the 8th green.

Might be fun to start a "GoFundMe" campaign to raise funds to keep them down there for as long as it takes.

As predicted: Trump seen golfing after vowing to 'work tirelessly'.

The more Trump golfs and the less he "works," the better off we all are. Can you believe the scum he is pardoning? Like pardons like, I guess.

Have a Merry Xmas Alan. Hope you and your family the best in the coming new year. We all could use a little bit of normalcy goring forward...I know I can.

But that will get him out of our hair for a while. I have a feeling he isn't going away after Jan 20th.

More likely he'll be the one to renege. I once worked for a company in NYC in construction.  We were negotiating with Trump's purchasing manager to do work in one of his new bldgs. Just when we dropped our pants to our lowest price, he gets on the phone and demands we take off another 5%.  We couldn't do it.  So he gave the work to a German company.  Similkar to the $2000 vs. $600 stimulus debate going on now.  You never drop your price unless you negotiate with Trump directly.  His staff doesn't have the final authority to make the deal.  He pulls that stunt all the time.    Republicans should have known better by now and gotten approval from him on the $600 while they were negotiating the deal within Congress.

An alternative lesson one could learn is never to do business with him again.

If all goes well, self pardon or not, the NY AG folks will have him in jail where he belongs. Then and only then will Trump be out of "our" hair.

Well, I have to extend my apologies to everyone because yesterday I said Trump had golfed 293 times since his inauguration. I did mention I might have missed a few, and I did. The total through yesterday was 300, and today is the 301st. Seems I missed a week. I also underestimated the cost to the American taxpayer at $143,000,000 instead of $151,500,000. I hope you can forgive me in the spirit of Christmas.

https://www.huffpost.com/entry/trump-151-million-golf_n_5fe3bc61c5b6e1ce83383074

Whatabout Obama? He tallied up 333 rounds but it took him two terms to do so. Trump is a loser one term president and only gets four years. I wish he'd get four more years for something, say tax fraud.

Meanwhile, back in Washington. D.C., Republican Senator Roy Blount had this to say about Trump's latest clusterfuck:

""We were assured that the President would sign the bill," Blunt told reporters Thursday, casually suggesting the President may not understand what is in it -- something of an understatement given the President's conflation of the Covid stimulus and government funding packages, and his fury over spending figures he proposed himself in his budget this year."

https://www.cnn.com/2020/12/25/politics/donald-trump-christmas-election/index.html

But of course that story was in the commie/lib media, yet even Fox News says he is out on the golf course. But he has his phone with him. Thank God he's got his phone with him or we would all be doomed, doomed I say.

Meanwhile, over in conspiracy theory town the anti-COVID-vaxxers are saying that because the vaccines have to be kept really cold they must have antifreeze in them and that is why the vaccines will kill you.

https://www.thedailybeast.com/the-anti-vaxxer-mission-to-promote-nonexistent-covid-19-vaccine-deaths

I was thinking I might do one of those GoFundMe pages and market this new anti-antifreeze pill I have been developing.

... Trump is a loser one term president and only gets four years. ...

Many conservatives will think different for good reason. He has appointed so many conservative judges that their influence will stay for decades.

Quote
The three Supreme Court picks could still be on the court at the 21st century’s midpoint, 30 years from now.

Beyond the Supreme Court, 30% of the judges on the nation’s court of appeals, where all but a handful of cases reach their end, were appointed by Trump.

Quote
On the campaign trail and at White House events, Trump would often cite his record on judicial appointments as an example of accomplishment, while ignoring the obstructions that occurred during the Obama years.

“You know, when I got in, we had over 100 federal judges that weren’t appointed,” he said. “Now, I don’t know why Obama left that. It was like a big, beautiful present to all of us. Why the hell did he leave that? Maybe he got complacent.” Trump omitted the essential fact that McConnell had blocked Obama’s nominees.

The whining continues apace. Trump woke up this morning and remembered he was married and is now bitching and moaning that the commie/lib fashion press has snubbed the First Lady. Michelle Obama got twelve magazine covers and Melania Trump got zero. This guy is a genius. I can't think of anyone who has thought up so many things to whine about. Sort of stream of consciousness whining. I am going to tweet him and remind him he has not whined about his toenail clippers being dull, at least not publicly. And neither his nor Melania's toenails have been featured on the cover of Toenail Monthly. It's a disgrace.

It doesn't seem to be doing him much good as his appointees are throwing out all his massive voter fraud lawsuits at every level. Anyway, it is McConnell's legacy, not Trump's. Not that he won't take credit for it.
