The US leader is clearly in the front, he's winning all races.

Per capita, people, per capita, please!

Those five countries have huge populations, so no wonder they are at the top, using absolute numbers.

Haha... speaking of cherry picking the countries for the list - the real list is here, and the US is only #10... Sadly, Serbia lost its championship title pretty quick:

Haha... speaking of cherry picking the countries for the list - the real list is here, and the US is only #10... Sadly, Serbia lost its championship title pretty quick:

Cherry-picked based on a variety of reasons.  They are countries that have either been discussed here, offered variety in population size, offered variety in number of per capita new cases, or represent a few different global regions... or some combination of those factors. Limited to 8 because I didn't feel like typing more, limited attention spans of some, and many people don't bother to click on links. It also illustrates that there is little correlation to either geographic region or population size for daily new cases of Covid-19.

How many per capita hospital beds do those countries, that I cherry-picked, have to care for those that become seriously ill?

Serbia - 5.6 (Per 1,000 Population)

United States - 2.8 (Per 1,000 Population)

Canada - 2.5 (Per 1,000 Population)

Denmark - 2.5 (Per 1,000 Population)

Germany - 8.0 (Per 1,000 Population)

France - 6.0 (Per 1,000 Population)

South Korea - 12.3 (Per 1,000 Population)

Australia - 3.8 (Per 1,000 Population)

https://ourworldindata.org/coronavirus

It's fortunate that Serbia has double the number of hospital beds per capita relative to the United States. Staffing is a different issue for which I haven't looked for data.

Why do Americans tolerate this?
Those that do; blind alliance, stupidity, lack of critical thinking, ignorance, prejudice.
IOW, for some, nothing new.
These traits are not solely attributes of Americans. Recently, Americans have been greater at it.

Yes, 10th worst in the world.

At least Scott Atlas, Mr. MRI, is no longer advising the President on achieving herd immunity, at least not formally. Not that it matters.

Rudy Giuliani doing his thing in Arizona in an all but empty ballroom. But at least he has moved the circus inside. Nine of ninety legislators attended.

Trump is perhaps losing confidence in his “elite strike force” legal team and has shifted his strategy to re-tweeting three voter fraud related tweets from the “catturd” account on Twitter. Catturd is perhaps best known for its runaway best selling book “The Adventures of Cowfart”. 51 days and counting.

If anyone is still interested in the voter fraud surrounding the Paterson city council race, it turns out 1200 ballots were excluded because the.signatures didn’t match, 1000 were excluded because the name of the person sending in the ballot was left blank, three because the voters were dead, and one because a voter appeared to be trying to vote twice. That leaves 800 that were unaccounted for in the article. The facts as reported in this article differ from the facts originally presented here on LuLa. You always have to check the facts.

Yes 10th places, but look at the company the USA is in. With the resources available to the USA...this race to the bottom is truly embarrassing.

A perfectly reasonable conclusion.

Perhaps, coming from you, Alan will be able to put this business to bed.
Bill, I already said that I believe Trump lost and we should move on to discuss Biden's policies.  However, discussing potential fraud due to new procedures is an issue going forward as well.  I suspect that fraud will occur and it could happen in the future against Democrats as well as Republicans.  The fact it happened in a NJ town near where I live raises it to a personal issue.  NJ and my former state of NY have had a lot of fraud with our government officials.  A lot of them are crooks.  Unlike Nixon.  :)

But what about ICU beds if you are really sick?  America leads there.  YOu can always find a statistic to "prove" your point.  It's all nonsense.
