You didn't address any of my facts and points.

You didn't address any of my facts and points.  Just smeared me.  Very weak.

Here is the post Paul was responding to. Please point out which of your statements are "facts" and which are "points". It all looks like opinion to me. And nonsense too. Of course, you are certainly entitled to your opinion.

Mexicans are smarter than Americans.  Europeans too. Americans send their troops to Europe to defend Europeans who don't have to spend their money on defense so they can have free healthcare.  At least Trump understood this.  Biden doesn;t.  That's why all the Europeans here like Biden.  They'll save their defense tax money not spent and use it to pay for their own social programs.  Of course the American media, biased as hell against Trump, never explained this to Americans and helped others against their own country.  It's a disgrace.

It's not living in Vietnam that's the problem.  It's speaking. Just like China.  We just had an election.  When were the last ones in China and Vietnam?

So what changes every 4 years in your life Alan? Probably not much...very much like in the lives of the Vietnamese...they just continue to go about their daily lives. Speaking and in fact living in some of their houses, they are all happy. Can that be said about many of the people in the US?

Alan you are so wrong with Canadians involvement helping out the Kurds...again you have no idea about anything outside the US.
Canada may have helped the Kurds against ISIS, but never agreed to fight the Turks, a Canadian ally and NATO member, to get the Kurds a homeland.  The Kurd's homeland was promised by all sorts of countries beside America for a hundred years.  Now suddenly, America is responsible for it.  The only reason anyone made an issue out of it was because it was about embarrassing Trump. If Biden was president and said "no", everyone would have agreed not helping was the right thing to do, that we couldn't go against Turkey, a NATO ally.  The whole thing was all about Trump, not the Kurds.  No one gave a hoot about them.  After all, where were they for the last hundred years if they cared so much?

You can't have guns in China.  The government is afraid of their people.  Apparently in your country too.

Yeh, that is one thing that makes the US even with many of the 3rd world countries...citizens arming themselves thinking they are now safe.

I've been all over the world and the only time I was jacked was in Atlanta at a convenience store where a coworker and I went to get some goodies. A group surrounded us and had us buy them a bunch of cigarettes and beer. They had a gun...I guess I should have had a bigger gun...isn't that how it works in the US?

Trump keeps saying the election was rigged, subject to massive voter fraud, and stolen by the Democrats. Sounds like a third world county to me. Sort of like a shit hole country.
The Chinese can teach the democrats a thing or two about stuffing the ballot boxes.  :)

Trump's pulling your chain again.  He's trolling you.  And you fall for it every time.  :)

Of course, on your agenda, whatever he says about how he's moved the Vaccine along, that's not pulling a chain. Foolish mindset.

Here is what you said:

Here is what I said in response:

"We could say no. That's an option. Then there wouldn't be any body bags being offloaded from planes. But really, when was the last time another country asked the US to send ours sons and daughters to fight and die for their desires? WWII, 75 years ago?

Anyway, I thought it was the US going around asking other countries to send their sons and daughters to fight and die in these conflicts with us. It was called coalition building. I don't remember Canada being the leader of any of the coalitions. It was always the US."

Please explain how my post is a non sequitur and unresponsive to your post.
We may have been the leader of the coalition, but our troops were fighting too, taking the lead in numbers and deaths.  In the Kurd case, people want Americans to fight unilaterally.,  They're not willing to sacrifice their own troops.  That's childish and immoral.  It reminds me of kids in the playground where one kid urges a second kid to fight a third kid.

You can't duck out of responding just by posting what you think is a clever little sentence and ending it with a smiley face emoticon. You are just deflecting and everybody knows it.

So you're equating America constitutional freedoms and protection against government interference in our lives to the governments of China and Vietnam.

Enough said.

It's a statement of facts.  Just read the posts here and the former thread on this issue.  No links required.

Answer the question...what big changes in your life do you experience every time a new president takes over?

I commend their action where they fought with us.  But this is different.  They are not volunteering to send their troops to fight the Turks to help the Kurds.  You want Americans to do that on our own.

No, not really. People are just pointing out what bad allies the US are, when the Kurds did a lot of the heavy lifting in fighting ISIS, but are left to twist in the wind when it suits the US.  A lot like the marsh Arabs in Iraq.

So you allege it is a statement of facts but can't substantiate any of it. Typical. Factless facts. Whatever pops into your head is a fact.

The CCP Chinese Communist Party control the markets and own a lot of the industry.  But the main point is that it's a one-party dictatorial state.  It has a president for life. They lock people up or kill them if they open their mouths.  Even Hongkongers understand this.  Didn't you see them marching for freedom?   Is that the kind of country you'd want to live in?  Is having a low Covid rate worth it to you?

First you conquer covid, then take Manhattan. Leonard Cohen said something like that.
