So... masks are good for the flu,  but not COVID? I agree.

Nope...you have it all wrong again... It's the Covidiots that don't wear masks that are the problem. Are you a Covidiot?

Slobo...you given up on your mantra that Covid is not anymore dangerous than the flu...or are you onto something else by now.

I've heard that several times in this thread, not necessarily from you only, that my sources are Breitbart, Newsmax, QAnon, some "weird" Instagram feed, etc.

I get my news from multiple sources, mostly news aggregators like Apple News and Bing News. I do visit individually Fox News, CNN, Wall Street journal. My instagram feed is their general "what's new" and includes politics, humor, social issues, photography, etc. I do not visit individually Breitbart, Newsmax, QAnon, etc., mostly because I do not want to spread myself too thin. If I would go there, I think (and you are free do disagree) I am savvy enough to recognize and separate facts from ideological fiction there (or elsewhere, for that matter).

Like I said, I don't do Instagram, so I don't know where you get all the images you post. I don't think much of them, so I posited that I would probably not see them on my Instagram feed, or whatever it is called, if I did do Instagram.  The reason I suggested that you might receive your information from different sources is that I don't seem to see information which would lead me to believe that:

But rioters are 99% the Left, as well as those who condone, enable, finance, and provide political, legal, academic and media support (for rioters and looters).

Which is itself surprising, because I watch and read what Craig refers to as "commie/lib" media like MSNBC, NYT, and the Washington Post, and whatever gets dished out to me on the daily Google newsfeed, where one might expect to find stuff that supports that view.

Here is some images from the Portand looting. The last are mugshots of people charged for looting.

So much for this fake news regarding 99% of looters were black. Seems like our boys ( Slobo and Alan ) learn very well from their fearless leader ( Chetos ) on how to spread lies to support their slanted views.

Biden's popular vote margin over Trump has now exceeded 7 million.

Maybe he'll top 8 million after a few more recounts.

Sorry if I'm not up on South African history.

Didn't seem to stop you from stating that "Nelson Mandela didn't burn down businesses and loot." It is just another example of you not having any idea what you are talking about.

Biden's popular vote margin over Trump has now exceeded 7 million.
And, in terms of the popular vote, Trump appears again as such a loser, even Mitt is higher  ;D:

Oh, man! You found a picture of a white guy looting what appears to be a single six-pack of beer! Congrats!

And some others looking at some empty boxes on the ground. Wow!

And judging looting by the number of people stupid enough to be caught is like judging the amount of drugs crossing the border by the amount of seized ones.

P.S. Oh, by the way, Portland demographics is only 6.3% black (a half of national), and 76.1% white.

In contrast to the single six pack, however:

$2 Billion!

Hum... What comes next?
The White House removed nine members of the Pentagon's Defense Business Board on Friday and installed people loyal to President Donald Trump in their place, including presidential allies Corey Lewandowski and David Bossie.
The Trump show continues until it's cancellation in a few weeks.

This epilogue buffoonery might have its good side, confirmation that it was a good idea to get rid of the twit.

South Africa was like America before the slaves were freed 150 years ago.  So you're justifying violence in America in the 21st Century by comparison?
How many countries had to have a Civil War to decide whether or not to end slavery? Most had ended it at least 30 years before.
It would be interesting if you were to take a poll in the US on who accepted the result of that war. It might be like the election.

I agree Slobodan, you're a smart guy and you are perfectly able to separate facts from ideological fiction. However your posts here show a very deep rooted hatred at anything slightly to the left and every wrongdoing in your eyes is caused by "the left" and exaggerated up to gigantic proportions in a style and vigor that is in my eyes hurting your credibility. The way your peddling this as one big left conspiracy is just beyond my comprehension.

In my opinion the post I quote here below is probably the best I've read and closest to how I feel about the whole issue:
Like all riots they were destructive and resolved nothing. But it's important to keep things in perspective. They were restricted to small areas of cities in which the majority of residents wouldn't have known they were going on if it weren't for tv that replayed the worst of the scenes over and over. The country was not upheaved, there is no long-lasting damage or risk. They were dumb, some people got hurt, but it's best not to blow them out of proportion. My guess is that they're more media circus than real rebellion. In a country where a lot of people have guns, real destruction was pretty minimal as these things go. Condemn them, you bet, calm things down to minimize injury and damage, yup, but please stop making mountains out of mole hills. There is no widespread violent socialist revolution going on, get over yourselves.

I've been pretty harsh and unsubtle in my rebukes to you (some but not all tactics were actually copied from you) and that's not my normal style but I did it to try and hold a mirror in front of your face to see if and how it would change anything. Since it didn't I won't react to your posts on this topic anymore, no matter how extremist and absurd they look to me because I think Robert above said it way more eloquently as I could ever do and we're not going to change each-others' opinions on this anyway  :P

As a last thought, when looking in a mirror everything left seems right and everything right seems left, so sometimes looking in a mirror and looking at matters from multiple angles (actually your advice on a different issue several pages back) can be very refreshing.

Restricted in area and blown out of proportion?! Exaggerated!?

$2 billion in damages? 47 fatalities?

This isn't just a few blocks in Portland, Oregon, but about 25 cities across the US.

I think this picture says it all:
