In the four or five days before I got symptoms, I had a breakfast with my 68 year friend and a lunch with my 90-year old friend, who later drove me home in her car. None got infected.

Yeh...and I drove drunk when I was young...never killed anyone. There...that's proof.

Joe, I'm not going to do your reading for you. Here's a tip. Go to Google, and type in a single word: Sweden. A bunch of stories about Sweden's decision will pop up. Read a few of these, and you'll conclude that Sweden is in trouble, and even their prime minister is starting to tap-dance.

Just point out other possible reasons many are not thinking about.

I was commenting on the notion that it is so contagious that merely passing by another human for one second will get you infected and you will die.

Surely sitting for two hours with at-risk population (my friends), including inside in a small, confined space (car) would be more dangerous than passing by someone on the street.

Another thing I forgot about those 4-5 days before symptoms: I attended a funeral of my best friend, with about 500 people in attendance, and shook hands or had a close hug with his family members. None of those family members got infected. Neither by me nor by anyone else of those 500.

This is not to say that coronavirus is not contagious, it is. Just no need to be hysterical about it.
