Trump is probably the only person in 50 years who challenged the powers that be and won.  First the Republican insiders tried to destroy him.  Then the Democrats with the dossier, FISA, FBI, Russia, taxes, emoluments, impeachment, and now Coronavirus.  And the press has been the ones who have been shooting at him for those powers.   I'm not sure if he'll be able to hold them off this election.  But he'll go down fighting or win again.  We'll soon see.

My point is that the powers that be in the Democrat party are out to destroy him and not let their own people decide by democratic voting in the primaries.    They're stacking the deck against him.  Ganging up on him.  Insiders in the swamp care less what the average Democrat thinks.

Then, at a brokered convention, they'll be able to better justify why they're giving the nod to Biden as their pick to run for president.  They'll have to tread very carefully.  Trump is going to be saying how Bernie's getting screwed to aggravate his supporters so they don;t come out to vote for Biden.  Obama will of course come out at the convention  to rally them to support Biden, which I suspect most will do in the end, or stay home.  It's a risky strategy for them.  But the alternative is probably a loss against Trump or if Bernie actually won, he wouldn;t owe them anything any more than Trump owed the republican party after his one-hand win.

So in quick succession, Buttigieg, now Klobuchar, and Beto O'Rourke, all coincidentally came out the night before the Tuesday primary to give their support to Biden.  Of course, no one is behind the curtain pulling the strings telling them to do it if they want a future in the Democratic party.  Of course, they told Warren to stay in as she will peel votes from Sanders.  Bloomberg has too much money to tell him anything.  In any case, they don't want to upset him as he promised them to give them all campaign support money to help the rest of the party keep the house and take back the Senate.  Let's all applaud independent but concerted thought. Amazing how they all did this together.

New York congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has delivered an online lesson to Republican Ted Cruz after he questioned her authority to comment on matters of science.

In the aftermath of Donald Trump's decision to appoint vice president Mike Pence to spearhead the administration's response to the coronavirus, many have questioned the move.
