Well don't expect Bloomberg.  His campaign is going around apologizing today for that great video they put out last week on the "I'm the only one who started a business."  What a weakling he is showing himself to be.

Biden's also weak compared to Sanders.  Bernie may be a socialist, but he'd cut your heart out in a Soviet minute.

Here are the Bernie Bros that are supporting the delusionary budget proposal:

"New report finds only 16% of millennials qualify as ‘financially literate’"

https://finance.yahoo.com/news/a-new-report-finds-only-16-of-millennials-qualify-at-financially-literate-195635534.html

Quote
For a new report on financial literacy, Americans were asked three “very fundamental questions” to test financial literacy.

Among millennials, only 16% correctly answered all three.

Now, who can blame them? The questions were really hard, rocket-science type:

Quote
1) Suppose you had $100 in a savings account, and the interest rate was 2% per year. After 5 years, how much do you think you would have in the account if you left the money to grow? Answers: a) More than $102; b) Exactly $102; c) Less than $102; d) Do not know; e) Refuse to answer.

2) Imagine that the interest rate on your savings account was 1% per year and inflation was 2% per year. After 1 year, how much would you be able to buy with the money in this account? Answers: a) More than today; b) Exactly the same; c) Less than today; d) Do not know; e) Refuse to answer.

3) Please tell me whether this statement is true or false. “Buying a single company’s stock usually provides a safer return than a stock mutual fund.” Answers: a) True; b) False; c) Do not know; d) Refuse to answer.

They're not as stupid as the study suggests.  They all know when a politician is offering them something for free.

When you are living paycheck to paycheck, there is no reason to have learned about anything in the survey.

That's such an ignorant comment. Are you saying 84% of millennial live paycheck to paycheck? Even if so, let's see:

Regular monthly expenses covered by the paycheck would include:

- student loans
- car lease or finance
- possibly mortgage
- credit card bills
- etc.

Not to mention Payday Loans.

All of the above require basic understanding of compounded interest and interest calc in general.

My anti-trump poker friends are really worried. They can't vote for Bernie because he's too radical. They might like Bloomberg because he seems to be a manager type even though he's really a Republican. They're really beside themselves. It's really funny watching them squirm since Sanders has been winning. They can't believe they might be stuck with Trump for another 4 years. If they didn't have their money in the stock market, they would pray the coronavirus would sink it.

Coronavirus is already calming down in China.  That tells me it's fortunately not going to be as bad as predictions.  Democrats are going to be disappointed when the stock markets recover rather quickly.

Somebody, somewhere, will say it's fake news.

From my semi-impressionable youth, some of it spent incarcerated in a Baptist-run boarding school, I seem to remember something about the end of the world being flagged up by Jerusalem being surrounded by wars and rumours of wars, and a great pestilence coming down...

Sell your remaining stock, buy a boat. Oh, and some violet oil.

Trump strengthens his reelection position.  Well, if the anti-Trump press reports the news.

Big win by Biden weakens rationale for Bloomberg and other moderates.  Democrats start breathing again.  Tuesday primary will be very clarifying.

So did Steyer.  There will be more dropping out Wednesday after the big Tuesday primary.  I see Sanders going against Biden but figure the Dems will give it to Biden.   Then Obama will rally the Democrats around Biden for the election and the press will also protect him against Trump just as they're going after Sanders like they've been going after Trump.  The swamp at work.
