Say what? Purple heart decorated, United States Army lieutenant colonel Alexander Vindman was the Director for European Affairs for the United States National Security Council (NSC) was called by Congress to testify and tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. If Trump got pissed off by that, it must have been because he didn't want the truth be told. Is Trump pleading guilty by self implication?
How about Vindman's, and his family's personal safety? We've already seen what Esper's words are worth, less than the paper it was written on ...
If by truth, you mean truthfully stating his opinion, then I guess yes. But if you are implying he testified to directly to what Trump was thinking and doing, then no! As wa pointed out during the inquiry, he had no direct knowledge.
His entire testimony was based on speculation, which was obviously biased against the president. Remember, his CO said that Vindman was an activist in uniform, and furthermore, I don’t hold someone above being biased just because they have a Purple Heart or a law degree.
Last, don’t give me this BS about personal safety. Trump can’t control crazies who happen to be supporters any more then Bernie can control his.
It’s an unfortunate part of modern politics, and I’m not sure there is a way to fix it.
