Garish. Goes with the territory. But, if the sky remains blackish, colour would stand out well against it. (See what happened there? Hedged my bets! I need that doctor.)

But for the bland frame, Slobodan, a wonderfully balanced, nascent Hasselfake. Your time with them was obviously not wasted!

Do you ever use it these days - the camera, I mean? I believe that square still makes for the very best considered compositions; provides unparalleled concentration on subject.

Of course we can make great compositions in almost any rectangle, but that understood, I still think the square does it best.

Love it! The processing too. Do I see in the second gray band of clouds from the top (below the first lighter strip) some speckling of jpeg artifacts or were the clouds actually like that?

Don't be silly, David!

Stormy weather creates static in the air. How better to see it if you see it?

Shot and processed on iPhone, so it is possible.

OK, that makes sense. The best camera is the one you have with you. After seeing the original, I like what you did with it even more.

Of course, Rob! I should have thought of that ;D I just want others to apply their imaginations to MY images! ;)

The original B&W is a real winner.

I guess I have to learn how to use my new iPhone.   :(

A slightly more careful processing on a desktop Lightroom:

I think you may have gone too far; I preferred the first, overall. Both are stunning improvements on the original!

Could you try an attempt at the color version?

Really!? I thought the versions are almost identical, except for less visible artifacts.
