Presidential advisor, Jared Kushner, has a degree from Harvard.  That alone doesn't make him qualified to bring peace to the Middle East or accomplish the other tasks in his portfolio.

Bringing peace to the Middle East has no bearing on either Rob's or my comment. Johnson's degree from the UK's second-best university  does, however, suggest that "an unbelievably poorly educated guy" is wide of the mark, which is the point I was making.

Brexit is a laughing matter; we are all falling down in happy tears of laughter at the thought of the new era of secondary - so unimportant - collateral austerity it promises on top of what exists.

At least I got my eyes done before the mother could turn that into a further comedy spot of need outpacing ability to buy.

Incidentally, I find it extraordinary that you manage to equate an advanced education with common sense.

I did read the post and my response still stands.  It matters not how highly ranked a university is, all rankings are subjective and just because one has an Oxbridge degree or two should not be any guage of a person's worth.  Your judgement that Johnson is not poorly educated is nothing more than a value judgement as well. How do you know whether he is or is not poorly educated.  Certainly his actions point to the latter.
