Truly good photograph, Eric; I sometimes wish I could adapt to that genre of work, but never could. Simplicity is always a powerful tool, and mood its empowering accomplice, as you clearly understand. Black and white is also, for me, far more attractive than colour landscape which just looks pretty or even pretty-pretty, which is probably yet more distressing to me as it becomes more pleasing to the shooter.

You guys are just trying to make the rest of envious. It was in fact a series of infrared bw images that first lured me into photography in a serious way. They were fantastic, another world, so surreal and so well done. They appeared in Globe and Mail, a national newspaper of Canada. Alas, at the time, I had neither the money nor the time to pursue bw photography. Sigh.
