My birds had just arrived to Colorado in mid May and we had this storm that dumped a lot of snow.
I always imagined a caption like "Sure, let's go to Colorado in the spring you said. It'll be nice.

Those are fine bird images. I have only a few, in fact it's something I'd like to do more of though I need a longer lens for it. This is a native North American bird of prey, a ferruginous buzzard.

Thanks for the comment John. I agree, Matt's image transcends the simple portrait of a bird and seems to tell a more compelling story.
That's a nice behavioral portrait of a hawk, great catch John!
