I know the categories,  The CDC publishes which groups get the vaccine in which order.
Wrong AGAIN. Making stuff up as he goes.
The CDC is still working out the groups and when they will get the vaccine. You'd know that if you actually checked the latest from the CDC and here's November 23, 2020:
https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/acip/meetings/downloads/slides-2020-11/COVID-04-Dooling.pdf
In your mind, The CDC publishes which groups get the vaccine in which order. Wrong. Slide 3, Policy Question 2. Work in progress. That's WHY there is this symbol (?) called a question mark.
Just try telling us the truth.

although there are millions that are at least one of the latter three.

Some seventy million of them, apparently.

Gullible.  ie "easily gulled"

"Wise men speak because they have something to say; Fools because they have to say something". -Plato

I heard this piece of wisdom in the following way:

Fools say what they know, wise men know what they say.

The alternative is death in the park. Take your pick.
Did you get your flu shot?

The alternative is certainly not death. With 99.94% certainty.

I did not this year. But used to in the last several years. With no side effects. This vaccine seems a bit different. Good thing is I am not in any of the priority groups, so I will let others be guinea pigs first.

And you like to be personally abusive without providing a justification. Which part of what I said is bothering you?

Your view that Cuba is purposely educating it's people to be used like a commodity ( human trafficking ) by sending them to foreign countries in exchange for something. That's the type of spewing I've come to expect from you...no facts...just spewing.

PSA:

https://www.cnbc.com/2020/11/23/covid-vaccine-cdc-should-warn-people-the-side-effects-from-shots-wont-be-walk-in-the-park-.html?fbclid=IwAR2TgzDYUXMVu3fwr984jNZ7dbRuvny0ody0cnZKEzZprBoz30kKIpONfGQ

Right...very much like the side effects from the yearly flu shot.

"Participants in Moderna and Pfizer’s coronavirus vaccine trials told CNBC in September that they were experiencing high fever, body aches, bad headaches, daylong exhaustion and other symptoms after receiving the shots. While the symptoms were uncomfortable, and at times intense, the participants said they often went away after a day, sometimes sooner, and that it was better than getting Covid-19."

Even if we except that made up stat, it sucks if you're outside that made up percentage. 260 thousand Americans have thus far, in what, 10 months.

Foolish, not unexpected.

But used to in the last several years. With no side effects. This vaccine seems a bit different.

THIS vaccine, one of many of which you know nothing about? Or your new day job is now studying multiple data sets from each company manufacturing vaccines? Data that is still being collected and according to the FDA: Vaccine Status: Currently, there is no FDA-approved or authorized vaccine for the prevention of COVID-19.
https://www.fda.gov/emergency-preparedness-and-response/coronavirus-disease-2019-covid-19/covid-19-vaccines
Slobodan however has made a scientific, objective analysis that "This vaccine seems a bit different".
Yes, it's different than vaccines it greatly differs from like the current Flu vaccine you didn't take.
Quote
Good thing is I am not in any of the priority groups, so I will let others be guinea pigs first.
It is a good thing; other's far more in need will get it first, after approval like all vaccines.
Interesting to see you've made up your mind without data but with made up stats. Not unexpected.  :'(

The fact that you are not aware of the facts of the matter results in you just spewing personal insults instead.

Educate yourself first:

https://time.com/5467742/cuba-doctors-export-brazil/

I know you will dismiss the following quote based on ad hominem attitude you often display, but this is just one of many quotes from many sources to that effect:

Quote
... [Bolsonaro]. He had called the doctors, who must send most of their salary to their Communist government, “Cuban slaves”

This is the Time magazine, not Bolsonaro, continuing:

Quote
... Cuba’s most lucrative export: not tobacco or sugar, but doctors. Leasing healthcare professionals to foreign governments brings in around $11 billion each year, making it a bigger source of revenue than the Caribbean island’s tourism industry. There are currently some 50,000 Cuban doctors working across 67 countries...

Quote
... “So Cuba has a really well-educated population and a surfeit of doctors.”...

Quote
... Brazil paid around $3,600 per doctor per month to the Cuban government... the Cuban government taking most of their salary, they were still getting about $1000 a month...

Quote
... The Cuban government keeps a tight grip on the doctors, too. In 2017, they tightened restrictions on doctors working in Brazil, banning them from taking Brazilian medical exams and compelling pregnant women to return home to Cuba after 22 weeks of pregnancy to prevent their children from being born in Brazil and getting Brazilian citizenship...

Quote
...On Nov. 29 several more doctors filed claims against PAHO, arguing that the U.N. agency has made $73 million dollars off the Cubans’ work and supported conditions that violate international laws on forced labor.

And this is just using the first link after search. There are many more articles, some of which I posted in the past in these forums. Some of which alleged sexual abuse by the political appointees in charge of the team of doctors while abroad, and some instances where the family back in Cuba is kept under threat unless the doctor returns.

Actually, that is not a bad thing.
Many countries, including Canada have acute shortage of doctors and could benefit by bringing in the Cuban physicians.

Quote
Over the next decade, the physician shortage will become more severe. Even if government imposed restrictions on the number of doctors being trained in Canada are immediately removed, it won’t have an impact for much of the next decade given the time it takes to train a new doctor. The only short-term solution is to recruit more foreign-trained doctors.

In 2006, the most recent year for which data is available, Canada’s physician-to-population ratio (age-adjusted) ranked 26th among 28 developed nations that maintain universal access health care. It’s not surprising then that some 6.6 per cent of Canadians reported being unable to find a family doctor in 2010. Canada’s physicians are unable to meet the demand for health care services because there are simply too few of them.

If this isn’t worrying enough, consider that Canada’s physician-to-population ratio is actually set to shrink in the coming decade. For many years, physician training in Canada has simply been insufficient to maintain an adequate physician-to-population ratio. Indeed, Canada’s doctor shortage would have grown more acute through the 1990s had foreign-trained physicians not filled the gap left by government restrictions on medical training in Canada.

Yes, and there is a bunch of Canadian nurses that trek everyday over the border to work in the Detroit area to help battle Covid. And Russia and China sent doctors over to Italy and Spain in the spring when those two countries were hit hard.

Are all these "human trafficking" as you call it?

Yes, I think it's a good idea too. Canada's high tech industry is supported by immigrants from the rest of the world, I don't see anything wrong doing the same with the health care system.

It's just Slobo's view is the Cuban government purposely is training their people with these skills so they can be used like a commodity...which is just horseshit.

Cuba believes in free education and free health...two basic necessities of life. Many other places like the USA have no such beliefs and your wealth very much influences your educations and health.

Your "logic" doesn't really deserve an answer, but for the benefit of others, ask yourself: "Do the Canadian and Russian governments (not so sure about China) keep 70+% of those nurses and doctors salaries?  Do they send politcoms (political commissars) to keep a close eye on them and prevent defection, while extracting sexual favors in the meantime? Do they threaten families back home in case they do defect? Etc., etc., etc."

This again. You seem to be intent on minimising the impact of Covid but rhetoric will not erase all the deaths and on top of that the full hospitals and impact on people with non-Covid problems.

Please show where did I say the above? Your reading comprehension is sorely lacking. What is horseshit is your straw man.

I said:

Quote
Free universities produce oversupply of doctors that the government then uses for human trafficking abroad.

The first part of what I said is just a general statement, applicable to most socialist countries (mine included). While in my country that lead to doctors waiting up to 10-12 years for the first job as doctors, or immigrating (freely, and keeping every single penny of what they earn), Cuba is using that surplus as its best export source of revenue, and treating those doctors as slaves, just like human traffickers do, as I described in the previous post.

With well over 99.94% certainty. He's making stuff up and doesn't understand how complex the data and reporting is. Long article but pretty exhaustive:

https://ourworldindata.org/mortality-risk-covid

Bottom line:
How does the case fatality rate (CFR) of COVID-19 compare to other virus outbreaks and diseases?

Once again, we should stress what we discussed above. One has to understand the measurement challenges and the definitions to interpret estimates of the CFR for COVID-19, particularly those relating to an ongoing outbreak.

As comparisons, the table shows the case fatality rates for other disease outbreaks. The CFR of SARS-CoV and MERS-CoV were high: 10% and 34%, respectively.22

The US seasonal flu has a case fatality rate of approximately 0.1% to 0.2% – lower than the current CFR for COVID-19.23

I guess this is what Sidney Powell meant when she said she was going to "release the Kraken".

A lawyer who was dropped from President Donald Trump’s legal team filed typo-strewn lawsuits in Michigan and Georgia alleging massive election fraud.

Quote
Sidney Powell, who has pushed some of the most extreme conspiracy theories around the election of Joe Biden, filed the lawsuits late Wednesday, according to a post on Twitter. The two cases have similar themes of problems linked to voting machines, mail-in ballots and deceased Venezuelan dictator Hugo Chavez.

Powell was kicked off Trump’s legal team this week after her claims about a vast Democratic conspiracy against the president. Days earlier she had appeared at a press conference alongside Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani, where she alleged a plot to swing the election to Biden that involved voting-machine tampering and Venezuela.

The pre-Thanksgiving lawsuits, which target elected officials in both states, also include other claims about forged ballots and observers being unable to watch the vote count.

Despite numerous allegations of voter fraud and irregularities from Trump and his supporters, no evidence has emerged of widespread problems that would have changed the results of the election, which Biden won with 306 electoral votes.

Powell also represented former national security adviser Michael Flynn, who was pardoned by Trump Wednesday.

Both of Powell’s latest lawsuits were riddled with typographical errors.

The Michigan lawsuit, which was on the court website, was frequently marred by formatting problems that removed the spacing between words. For example: “TheTCFCenterwastheonlyfacilitywithinWayneCountyauthorizedtocountthe ballots.”

In the Georgia complaint, which was only available on Powell’s website, the word district in the court name was misspelled twice on the first page of the document. First there was an extra c for “DISTRICCT” and then, a few words later, “DISTRCOICT.”

The cases are: King v. Whitmer, 20-cv-13134 U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Michigan and Pearson v. Kemp, Northern District of Georgia. (Adds background on Flynn in sixth paragraph.)

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2020-11-26/ex-trump-lawyer-files-election-lawsuits-in-distrcoict-court

The fact that the pleadings were riddled with typos doesn't mean that the things she alleges are not true, but it does not create a unfavorable first impression.

The Complaint lists as attorneys Caldwell, Propst & DeLoach, LLP.

"Caldwell, Propst & DeLoach, LLP is Atlanta’s leading law firm for Estate, Trust and Fiduciary Litigation, as well as for estate planning and probate administration. Building on Harmon Caldwell’s experience as one of the city’s top trial lawyers for estate and trust matters; Floyd Propst’s 25 year history as the Fulton County Probate Court Judge; and Don DeLoach’s decades of expertise in estate planning, the firm has consistently been recognized as one of Georgia’s best."

Trust and estate lawyers on an election fraud action?

In addition, Sidney Powell is listed, but she is not permitted to practice before this Court until her motion for admittance pro hac vice has been approved. It's done routinely. One thing of interest is that her money raising website "defendingtherepublic.org" shows an address in West Palm Beach, Florida that appears to be a mailbox in a UPS store. I wonder who picks up her mail. Her offices are in Dallas.

Another attorney listed is L. Lin Wood. He is handling other election litigation on behalf of Trump. Here is a link to some of the QAnon stuff he peddles:

https://welovetrump.com/2020/11/23/lin-wood-americans-will-be-shocked-at-level-of-pedophilia-satanic-worship-occupying-oval-office-for-years-before-trump/

Also listed as attorney is Howard Kleinhendler. He is from New York and also needs to be admitted pro hac vice. He is a failed candidate for the House of Representatives in 2014. He has a one page website with virtually no information on it. He used to be a partner at a firm called Wachtel Missry LLP. He left there in January 2020. No reason is given, but it may be related to an action for malpractice, breach of fiduciary duty, elder abuse, fraud, etc. filed against Kleinhendler and Watchtel Missry LLP by one of Kleinhendler's clients:

Typos indeed create an unfavourable impression, but the real interesting question is if the pleadings contained any concrete evidence of voter fraud and vote switching or were they just the same speculations we heard before.
