Reminds me of a young man I met in San Miguel de Allende in January, 2017, just a few days before Trump's inauguration, who told me he was looking forward to the construction of the border wall.  "I hope your Congress gives him the money," he said.  "He is going to need a lot of Méxican workers to build it."

The popular vote was indeed decisively in favor of Joe Biden by a margin of approximately 7 million votes. We don't use the popular vote to determine the winner of our presidential election, but that does not render the popular vote meaningless.

Trump thought it was so meaningful that he lied that 3-5 million illegal immigrants voted for Hillary, and that was the only reason she won the popular vote. He even set up an election fraud commission to look into it, which ultimately disbanded because they could find none.

Of course we have a popular vote in every election in the U.S. and they are often decisive. The popular vote for elective offices occurs in each state and nowhere did Andrew's statement refer to a national popular vote. That's an assumption on your part, which I believe is a specialty of yours. Either way the statement would be accurate as the national popular vote was decisive and indicative of Biden's national support, though it was the popular vote in the states that were determinative of the outcome.
