Is this the silly season? If it is, I shall refrain from commenting because my problem will be that I won't know when said season has ended.
On less abstract matters: two or so years ago I worked out the selling price for my apartment on a pound/euro conversion rate of €1,32 to the pound. Today, I discovered the pound is now worth €1,17. Of course leaving the EU won't have any effect on the pound in your pocket, just as Mr Wilson said some decades ago on another fiscal matter!
I just hope as a last desperate hope, that the matter will be thrown around in Parliament, that it finally accepts the need to take responsibility and actually govern and take at least one important decision, and that bloody clause never activated.
Watching Blair's interview post the C. Report, I felt kinda sorry for him. How wonderfully savvy these journos are today; how few of them ever had to make any decisions that made any difference at all. Oh, the strength of the wolf pack, or even, in this case, the jackals.
