Where you been lately... there's a new kid in town... can't say more than Slobodan has. You make BW and the important parts sing with texture and lines.

Thanks, John.

I have driven past this small reservoir in Brookline, MA, hundreds of times and for a long time have intended some day to check it out for photographic possibilities. So I finally got to do it just a few days ago, after just enough below freezing weather for most of the pond to have iced over, but before the first real snow of the season. The second and third images I posted are from that day, and there are several more. The first of this set is at a pond nearer my house that I have photographed many times, this one within the last two weeks, and the fourth one is that same pond but back in 2013.

Nice shots, Eric. I like the lines in number 2 the best.

I found this one. My cellphone took it and Google uploaded it to Photos.  I fiddled with it in LR Develop, but ended up coming back to something close to the original. It occurred to me that if it were rendered in acrylic and massively upsized it would not look at all out of place on the wall of my local gallery, in an exhibition they are currently running of work influenced by Kazimir Malevich's iconic painting "Black Square".

Very abstract, Ken. But maybe you should crop it square to fit with the gallery's theme.   ;)
