That's a true dedication to arts! Traveling all the way across the ocean to find tar with a French bouquet ;)

With enough french wine, everything becomes abstract  :D

I like those two shots, somewhat reminiscent of your beautiful road tar photos.
Merci, Francois.

Indeed, I do seem to spend much of my time looking down instead of up. I'll have some looking in other direction soon, I hope.

When accompanied by a nice pate de foie gras and sauced to perfection with truffe, French tar can be quite delicious, especially if accompanied by a bottle of Chateau LaTour 1959;)

Hey Boudewijn, welcome to the forum. Excellent work. I especially like the middle one- good eye. And I like how you exposed the water shot for the highlights and allowed the dark areas to go black.

Hi John R and Arlen,

Thanks for your comments. Actually I am not quite new to this forum, but ran out of abstracts for a while. You may want to check pages 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7 for earlier contributions.

Cheers,
Boudewijn Swanenburg

The rougher, metallic side of water lilies.

Neat effect. Looks a bit like a solarized wet print.

Not as colorful as John's and Jim's masterpieces but still fun along the beach.
