Eerie. Haunting. Good work.
Ta.
I like your Staccato stuff by the way. I used to do similar on slide film some years back where I had to hold camera in a really weird grip to prevent film from winding on as I took multiple shots and stalked my subject. Occasionally revisit that technique with digital. But although similar in concept, layered digital files don't quite have the same feel as bodged slides.   ;D

First one is fairly abstract and nice. The other 2 seem to be out of focus fireworks. How about the moon shot after a "couple" of whiskys over San Francisco bay with an 8 second exposure?

Oh! And since he started the thread, maybe Eric would comment on the entries?

I love the variety that you folks are bringing to the idea of "abstracts." Even "Content Protected by..."

I find the "out of focus fireworks" very appealing; more so than most sharp fireworks shots I've seen.

And Bruce's "At Home" is really far out: dreamlike.

I feel Candy Store may be too much fun.

I think it could be made more serious.

Since I'm more addicted to chocolate than to hard candies, I think Bruce's version may be an improvement.
But there's just a tiny chance that I'm being a bit subjective.

Question: Is either version more or less abstract than "Content Protected by...?"

(First post of mine on LuLa!  :))

Here are some of my abstracts. Any/all comments appreciated.

Nothing showing.  Try *url* tags not *img* tags for the links to see if that helps. At least you can then click on link [like below] to take you to image as image linking doesn't seem to work with your urls.  ???
I can see the links when I quote your reply, but nothing when it's posted. ?!?

I deliberately framed the image this way and took two shots: one in focus, the second out of focus.

This is simple camera movement:
