They certainly fit my loose definition of abstract. Nice ones. Welcome to the playpen, Chris!

Yes, I thought about mentioning 'non-representational' vs. abstract at the beginning, but I thought, "Let's just have some fun!"
Mike.
P.S. I was at a presentation recently with Robert Bateman and he was talking a bit about his history in art and different styles of art. At one point he put up an abstract piece and he mentioned that people have asked him, "What is it?" The answer is, "It's a painting." Often the next question is, "A painting of what?" His reply is, "It's not a painting
of anything. It's a painting. We don't ask, 'It's a butterfly wing... of what?' or it's a sandstone mosaic...of what?' It's a painting."
