And indeed it did! I'm not sure what you saw that displeased you, but I see nothing not to like in your rendering of it.
Thanks Arlen. It's graffiti. So I abstracted a portion and used ICM to render it unrecognizable. Just shapes and colours.

I'm confidant that your version is much better than the original.

Love the graphic and the sense of slow motion in this one!

Painter’s Tape

That is wonderful Chris. I was immediately drawn to the cool contrast between the blue, black and white colors. And of course the abstract-like design. On my second visit I finally noticed the man outside the window. And that is the way a good image should be.

On my second visit I finally noticed the man outside the window.

Yes, that's the painter.  My initial thought was to snap him while he was bending down to work on one of the lower panes of glass, but it occurred to me that he might not be pleased with the old man on the other side of the door aiming a big camera in his face while he was working; I decided I was satisfied with the spectral figure standing on his stepladder.

Very interesting. Frost on car surface, something like that?

Thanks guys! Heavily edited rivets on an old steam locomotive.

Here's another one from the same subject.

Fantastic shots (both). Indeed, very abstract and open to many interpretations.

Tack Sharp

Well, the image needs to stand or fall on its intrinsic merits, but this is the backstory: my wife plants "bee balm" flowers in our back yard to attract pollinators.  (Hummingbirds like them, as well.)  These spiky protrusions are what is left after the flowers have withered.
