Yeah. I like that one. Strikes me as a flow of colors down a drain to the left.
Well you got it right, Russ. It is small rapids flowing over a rock looking like a drain motion as it moves over the rock. The yellow-orange comes from a ridge reflecting evening light onto the rapids. Thanks again.
This, I think, is genuinely abstract, even by the standard I would apply to painting. Well done.
Thanks Chris. I chose that image because I knew it was closer to a "true" abstract. I had a great day on my walk, but sure wish I had brought the tripod. In this one, the underlying subject is more obvious but still has an abstract quality, I think.
